Doug– I have told you before that you could model the US economy and deduce the proper solution, but that is not necessary. It is obvious that if you cut spending drastically (and continually obstruct job creation programs as the right wing GOP hs done), the economy will spiral downward to oblivion. Let me make it simpler: from a micro standpoint, if you have a McDonald’s restaurnat, just one, and there are 50 people with money in it, and you gradually take all the money away from each one sequentially, there will less and less ability to purchase anything…and the restaurant will be forced to lay off people…and these laid off people will spend less and less…and more people will be laid off, etc, etc, etc…to nothing. Can you grasp that analogy????
Someond just graduated here to IDIOT!!!! Congratulations!
doug–the spending ONLY applies the US government, not individuals……and only in a bad recession or depression……….
Matthew they show a decade trend that shows little to no heating and some cooling. You may spin it however you please.
I tend to question anything that is rampant with fraud, and has people like Al Gore and banks like Goldman-Sachs pushing it for financial gain.
When scientist are denied funding and refused the right to publish in scientific journals if their results do not conform to the global warming scenario that is also a red flag that something is wrong.
To date 47,000 scientist have signed a petition asking Congress to deny the Kyoto agreement because there is not sufficient evidence that global warming is indeed happening.
Harold Lewis Emeritus Professor of Physics at the University of California is but one of many distinguished professors who have resigned from APS. If you are interested you can read his resignation letter. It is eye opening and just reaffirms my belief that anything that has trillions of dollars attached to it and is pushed by the UN, Al Gore, Michael Moore and on and on needs to be questioned or else we will find ourselves drowning in even more taxes, federal and God forbid— UN regulations.
Mr USa
When you print money and everybody has $100 for one big Mac and It is all their is to eat. It is worth $100.
Somebody has to make the beef. Gov can not .those are the producers.
You are right Stalin and Mao created the beef did they not?
Lenin did not do this. It was better until Stalin.
@doug z
what kind of truck would you like?
Doug–that does NOT hold in a bad recession or depression……….
I so enjoy how environmentalist always have to rename things. First they rename the jungle to rainforest. Because a jungle is wild, scary and dangerous but a rainforest is cute, friendly and helpless. Hey, weren’t all the rainforest suppose to be gone by now?
Then it’s global warming, when the temps went down. It was global warming is causing global cooling. When people laughed at that it become Climate change.
Letmethink
I keep the history of Global cooling and warming in the back ground on my computer. It is time for warming. People and counties fall with cooling happens thought-out history. I forgot warming causes cooling they are covering all bases now.
It is a money trap just like you said.

D.D., if June is putting the money up for the kids. She ain’t a dumb poor hick is she! I had heard that June didn’t marry Sugar Bear because she was getting welfare and would lose it if she married.
I have always believed that there isn’t much reality on these reality shows.
I think the thing for all of us to remember is that reality TV is so interesting to people because watching people is what we do. How many times have you gone to a park, beach, community event, street walk cafe, sat on your porch, gone for a walk, car ride, etc… just to watch people. When you go to a ballgame, we don’t spend all the time watching the game.
cathy, I am a girl watcher
I need to go to tuesday.
Ever notice that the Ed Show gets the best ratings when the fat redhead

Seems you keep forgetting this.
with no statistically significant warming for 15 years now.
It depends on the source as to what was the warmest year.
The warmest year in the 160-year Met Office Hadley Centre global temperature record in 1998.
The 10 year deal comes from “Trenberth”s missing heat.” The 15 years comes from Phil Jones. The 17 year deal from Boris.
Source.
The GW scheme depends on models. If the models keep missing their mark how much confindence do you have in them? They missed/predicted 10 years of warming that didn’t happen & now have missed the most recent between 14-16 years depending on your source of relativity flat temps. By all means post your source that says the models predicted this lull.
Now according to some 2010 was the warmest year ever. 2011 was the 7th. The difference (if memory serves me right was 0.22) Since we can post pretty graphs in the comments I’ll use numbers. Let’s say 2010 the global temp was 50.563. In 2011 it would be 50.343. Run for the hills we are going to melt.
BTW the RSS numbers are out for December. So if you count them 2012 would be the 13th warmest. UAH the 9th warmest..you decide who’s numbers you want to use.
Sorry for the long rambling post. Poor Matthew got his panties in a bunch AGAIN!
