   NCIS did an 13.0 with almost 21 Million. Just love it… love the show.

   Does anyone know if they are continuing the show?

   NCIS has not been officially renewed, but it is pretty much a certainty that they will go for several more seasons. Probably at least 2, if not more. NCIS is a monster. For a show to be pulling 21 million viewes in its 10th season, that is a sign of a strong show. NCIS has several years left in the tank.

   NCIS LA is holding strong too, but I definitely don’t see LA lasting as long as the mothership.

   I’d be interested to see this list with 18-49 demo. TBBT would still be there. NCIS, not so much

   NCIS skews ridiculously old, but when you’re pulling in 20m viewers a night, it doesn’t really matter. It’s amazing how well it’s aged as a show in terms of ratings. I’m constantly impressed.

   Don’t watch any of them except POI which isn’t listed above. Could never get into NCIS.

   CBS – fulfilling a public service in broadcasting by keeping older viewers away from Fox News.

   NCIS made its reputation by surviving against peak-era Idol, basically destroying ABC and NBC shows in the time slot. Nowadays Idol’s actually dodged it… and gets to be beaten by TBBT instead. NCIS is a monster, presumably big in syndication too, and I’m not surprised it’s getting a second spinoff, as the first one is also one of the biggest scripted hits in television.

   That’s (at least) the top 18 scripted broadcasts of the season to date by total viewers being on CBS. The other networks must be awfully glad CBS can’t monetize their old crowd (although I wouldn’t be shocked if they sold ads on the basis of 25-54 rather than 18-49 – do CBS get notably different advertisers from, say, FOX which seems to skew more 18-34?)

   Oh, btw, those provisional numbers went UP in the finals. NCIS got over 21m, LA went to 17.9m and goes to #9.

    Hey CBS haters – CBS does skew “old” but they have 9 scripted shows which regularly attract 3.0+ in the 18-49 demo. ABC only has 2 and NBC and FOX have none.

    NCIS has double the number of ‘young people’ watching than 30 Rock or Community.
