Personally, I’m a bit worried about this season. But hard to say after just one episode. The ratings rise is simply due to gradual word of mouth. A show hangs around long enough, and is good enough, it starts attracting new eyes–whether they stick around longterm is another matter.

I really hope the show doesn’t run more than seven seasons, and five would be just fine by me. But I’m guessing more than five.

Why do you care if it runs more than 7 seasons? What if it runs for the next 100 years? Is that going to impact your life in any negative way?

FWIW, Graham Yost has said that he has plans for 6 seasons. As long as the numbers stay solid, there’s a good chance that the show will go that long. If the numbers continue to improve, they might back the Brink’s truck up to Yost’s house, and who knows?
