   @DM, really? ur comparing a show in its third season, which lost a bunch of key cast members, and got pretty no promotion at all to a show in its first season that has gotten a ton of promotion??? not really an even comparison. also, secret life is not rele compatible lead in for MIOBI since its shallow teeny-bopper fare where all anyone rele ever does it talk about sex, whereas MIOBI was a show with some soul about characters who had dreams and ambitions beyond getting pregnant and married in high school. Although i guess all that makes SL a pretty good lead in for bunheads:). I always said they should have S@B as MIOBIs lead-in. Very similar types of shows, made in part by the same guy, Paul Stupin, and something that people with some brain cells over the age of 16 could actually enjoy.

   SAB is actually a good lead in for MIOBI. But by the time SAB came along the network already killed MIOBI for keeping it off for so long so many times and not promoting it AT ALL. It ended the second part of there first season close to 3 million viewers. I think ABCF wishes they had treated it better and promoted it now. PLL is the only show close to that.

   It has nothing to do with the content of the show at all – any of them. Since MIOBI was gone for so long it had to reestablish a fan base. Bunheads was new so it did not have a fan base yet. They were both lead in by the same show and one of them managed to maintain the ratings and even perform better than its lead in show and the other one lost half the audience of its lead in.

   Not to mention Secret Life was always MIOBI’s lead in and when Secret Life was doing well, so did MIOBI. When Secret Life started tanking in its 4B season, low and behold MIOBI’s ratings went with it showing that it always depended on its lead in.

   Wow at Vanderpump Rules, I love Lisa and the shows pretty good so I say it will do well. And next weeks RHOBH will go up a lot I think. I think its funny how none of the other cast members besides Brandish and Yolanda mentioned that it was new because the others are so jealous that it was Lisa night. GO LISA!!!!

   TLG is bad. Bunheads isn’t. Bunheads is amazing! . It’s not the wrong network, They need shows like Bunheads.

   Hmm… not entirely sure Bunheads did bad. The retention wasn’t bad, and it was only down one point with more competition. Of course ABC Family is most likely looking for the show to improve, but maybe they will renew it and keep it a summer show if gets more critical buzz. Seems like they kept Greek around for a while, and that show was a hot mess ratings wise. Couldn’t even muster 1 million viewers after PLL. ABC needs shows like this to reestablish itself, and be taken more seriously in the scripted drama department.
