   the only cable show i really cared about was the lying game…and no rating

   that’s good for cougar town…not much lower than what it was getting on abc, so i’m sure tbs is happy

   Great start for PLL, Snooki and Jwoww and Cougar Town.

   Worried for TLG. The show is amazing!

   Wake me up when The Big Bang Theory get over a 10.0 demo like Grey’s and DHW use to get. A 6.1 doesn’t mean beast status.

   I don’t have any numbers for The Lying Game yet, but will add them to the post when I receive them. ABC Family cares about 12-34 year olds as well as 18-49 year olds, so it’s possible that if TLG does well among younger demos the network could consider it worth keeping.

   PLL the BEAST. That is incredible. I agree they promote that show very very well. Tough for Lying Game not to get a number behind that kind of a lead in.
   @Rebecca, I don’t think the new ABC F pilots look good at all. I just posted I do not see how they can make Socio after Newtown. The other two seem soft and generic. No break out hits there.

   Oh is that Castle I see on the list? TnT is so satisfied with the ratings they are airing it 2 nights.

    PLL….monster numbers, it was massive on Twitter as well, this show will run six seasons! [and a tv movie!]

    Even though TLG didn’t make the list, I don’t think we should assume it did awful. Throughout the entire first season, it never made the list. Even when it reached highs of 0.7.

    There’s no way ABC Fam is passing on Socio. I’m not interested in the show whatsoever but it is controversial enough that it will draw an audience. Same with The Fosters to a lesser extent.

    Look at ABC Familiy’s track record. The shows that have performed best have all centered on something a little taboo. The Secret Life = teen pregnancy, PLL = Murder/Mystery and Switched at Birth to the lesser extent. Random shows like Bunheads and Jane by Design do not find an audience on this network. I don’t know what The Lying Game’s excuse is.

    Panda PLL was trending on twitter the night BEFORE it’s premiere. That’s when you know it will be huge.

    Why cant ABCf pick up socio? Fox is doing the following, A&E has Bates Motel, Showtime still plans to air Dexter, nbc has Do No Harm(which is about a guy whose half sociopathic)…I honestly dont know too much about this pilot, but i cant imagine what would make it so much worse than the shows above.

    Cougar Town lost almost half its repeat lead-in. LOVE it. Once a flop, always a flop

    Rachel, they tried to get another PLL going so hard. Lying Game and that cat show were supposed to be in that mold but it takes more than an idea to get something going. I think ABCF will be severely boycotted if they do Socio. Might give them good publicity though. I don’t think gay parents are controversial any more, every show has gay characters. I don’t think the Fosters has anything going for it unless it is just really, really excellent. The cancer teen show also feels weird.
