Why is the 25-54 age demographic not as important as the 18-49 demographic? It targets almost all of the audience that is included in the 18-49 demographic.
Because the 18–49 demographic also includes 18–34-year-olds, which is a huge demographic for advertisers. Not only does the 25–54 demographic not contain 18–34-year-olds, but it also includes viewers older than 49, which are rarely a target.

That is so TRUE! If 21 million people watch your show that means your show is really good, even the best no doubt about this. People NEVER LIA. We are not ads or money or network shareholders. Congratulations to ncis. We must be honest and give what winners diserve. Its like election and popular vote. You can’t winn presidensy without popular vote but if you lose popular vote lose credibility to be president.

Repeats of MF and The Middle did fine considering it’s not their timeslots. HE got a little boost, looks like it needs to follow a fellow comedy to perform a little better
Great for Parenthood as allways. I did not think Go on was new last night iether for the same reason given above too. I hope more people watch it next week. Its a funny show.
I also missed last night episodes of both Go On and The New Normal because it didn’t appear as new episodes. I was surprised when later checking their FB pages they were talking about the new episodes. I wonder in how many sites they put the same wrong schedule? i mean the ones in charge of doing it of course. Anyway I’m still shocked about that 1.5 T_T
No one has ever asked me what show I watch, so no, the Go On/New Normal fake out didn’t get me but it’s possible it did affect viewership. Isn’t Zap2It used on some PVR services?

Our TV schedule grid/data comes from Tribune Media Services, and their data is quite widely used online, and (if anyone recalls what they are, printed newspapers). We have no control over the schedule data.

Google had us at 95,000 unique visitors yesterday, but you’re right that our viewership vs. the ratings of a broadcast TV show is tiny, tiny.
So much for all the haters who’ve commented that NCIS and NCISLA are on their way down. Wow, that’s a LOT of viewers (and both above 3.0)

Go On and TNN didn’t do THAT bad, with the mixup factored in. Did it affect the guides on the TV as well, or just online?

I wish FOX would simply give up on the idea of a two hour comedy block and place Raising Hope behind New Girl once more. Both shows are gaining the same amount of viewers. Also the hour would see a better demo rating. I feel Raising Hope would be able to garner at least 1.9 behind New Girl. Repeats of Bones or two animated programs would do fine in the 8pm hour.
NBC would be stupid not to renew parenthood for a full season.. Scripted shows on nbc thursdays and now tuesday nights are pathetic. I will leave Wednesday alone, SVU is pretty stable for a veteran show and does good in syndication. Chicago Fire well thats another story.. Unless the uptrend continues the show is pretty average by scripted nbc averages….
