Just checked the numbers from last year during this time and Fox News is down in overall numbers and MSNBC is up in overall numbers.
Just to give you guys an example, O’Reilly drew 752,000 viewers in the key demo this time last year and now only draws 492,000 in th key demo.
Fox News keeps slipping.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, seems like Hannity and Greta handled their competition quite well in fact the words “Hannity is on Fire!” comes to mind. But keeping an open mind maybe there was a canasta tournemnt on TV or a boxing match between Snooky and Honey Boo Boo or some other reason that the MSNBC viewership was down.
I am sure that one or more of the loons on the left will explain to us the reasons and those reasons will make PERFECT sense!
Yep there it the first one!!!! Bingo!!
The Life of Alexander Hamilton told in 4 minutes:

Erin beat Ed in the “very important key demo”.
I doubt the school shooting in California will get anything like the attention of the vastly more tragic shooting in CT, but CNN might get a little pickup if the subject matter on most cable news shows is about guns. Breaking stories work to CNN’s advantage. My first knowledge about was via CNN.
Ed’s audience in the not-so-key A35-64 demo was 55% of total. Erin’s was 46%. Bill’s was 44%.
This is just to put things into perspective:
NBC Nightly News = 8,896,000 Total Viewers and 2,447,000 demo(25-54) viewers
ABC World News = 8,475,000 Total Viewers and 2,095,000 demo(25-54) viewers
CBS Evening News = 7,241,000 Total Viewers and 2,024,000 demo(25-54) viewers
Ouch!!! That’s gotta hurt!

Hurt what?? and so what?
All those viewers are comprised of right, left, inbetween, and most of who dont give a crap either way but are just trying to get the news!! So your point is????
Gotta go, the loons have invaded the lake again!
MARK2—-
Regarding the ratings: you do remember that this time last year we were in the middle of contentious Republican Primaries? Of course Fox’s ratings would have been up. Common sense. Since Fox is the only channel that had fair coverage of the primaries, people watched it more. Now that the election is over, ratings went back to normal levels. Yes, MSNBC is doing great. No denying that. I congratulate them. But it has nothing to do with the outstanding ratings Fox has and have always had.

@cathy: I responded to you and Hillbilly on the previous page. Don’t feel like copying and pasting.
I will take a college student thinking their special, over a Minister thinking their GOD any day.
Example: Mike Huckabee…
Are people still using Fox News being the overall #1 cable news network for forever now, on how the overall country feels politically? Lol oh wow. Liberals you have the White House & actually gained Senate seats (im still shocked you guys did that) & won quite significantly both elections. Oh btw the GOP are in the midst of their own civil war(The Blood Bath has not yet begun). If Conservatives want to cling to Fox News as a victory in their win column, then by all means, let them have it. geez. Because, at this moment, that’s all it seems they are able to win. Even when you Liberals were winning ratings for that short period of time, it was like playing with house money. let’s not all kid ourselves.
The GOP needs to do some serious soul searching. By “Soul Searching” I mean other than White People. If they want to court us Independents back to their side it will take a lot more than Fox News to do it.
Diamond Dave:: Correct on your analysis, last year was an election year…you need to go back to january 2009 to achieve apples to apples…also, those on the right that watch Fox got nausiated after the election and tuned off from two years of politics only to accomplish nothing…i myself took a breather to regroup from the frustration and confusion of why and how Obama could have fooled so many people twice…
@Dana…You are spot on in your analysis…I’m a FOX viewer who had to take a much needed breather! I am watching them again, although not with any regularity.
I would “occasionally” watch MSNBC, trying to understand the mindset of the other side. Since the election I have not, nor will not watch MSNBC. Instead, I sometimes tune in to CNN, which isn’t as bad, although still with more than just a ‘slant’ of liberalism. Except of course, for that idiot Piers!
WHAT ABOUT the TWO Elections IN A ROW won by Republicans….would’ve been
embarassing if the Dems lost again after THAT!
Mark2 twisting himself into a pretzel trying to justify the Winning Numbers
for FOX…My advice to mark2…take a deep breath through your nose, exhale
through your mouth, repeat., repeat., repeat., repeat.,repeat………….
MSNBC has definitely grown, I remember few years ago none of MSNBC programming would get more than 100K in the demo except Olbermann and Maddow. Now almost every program gets over 200K in the demo, just look at how well Morning Joe is doing, usually Fox and Friends leads with very big margin and HLN comes second.
