    @Mark, “Stewart or Colbert to O’Reilly or most other hosts on cable news channels is fair because all of them are entertainers that use politics as a form of creating entertainment”

    You need to check into the legal differences, silly boy. Shows have to classify themselves because they can be broadcast. Stewart and Colbert shows are satirical television program, you can call them news satire if you like. Because they call themselves satire they can pretty much say anything and not be sued or removed from the air. They have no legal obligation to support the statements made on their shows.

    Because O’Reilly calls itself a talk show. If something on O’Reilly is called news or fact. The show is legal obligated to verify the statement is correct. If they do not they can be removed from broadcast or sued by anyone for misinformation.

    Sadly Rat, no one can fall of the grid. If someone wants your space next to retired navy, we could have another “Ruby Ridge”.

    I’m happy I have friends that are Doctors. But I also made sure I only use them when the over the counter meds aren’t working.

    Sunshine, Does Canada still sells Tylenol with codeine (222′s I believe) over the counter?

  • sunshine

    @ Cathy

    We can get Tylenol 3′s from the doctor and I do believe you can still get 222′s but you must ask for them.

    Ok I just called my pharmacy and they do still exist. They refer to them as aspirin with codiene but said they are 222′s. They have a store brand also. 50 for $8.99.

    Have a great day ……….got to go :arrow:

    i’ll do better next week with my predictions. lol

  • Raz

    Stayed in a B and B in the Easterntownships of Canada and busted up my hostess when she asked what I was there to see. “Walmart,” I said.
    “Don’t you have Walmarts where you live? ” She sez.
    “We do, but can’t get the tylenol w/codine, Advill 400′s or cough syrup with codine without a script like up here.”

    Then had to explain what a copay was.

  • Mark2

    @StanT “First, O’Reilly had 492,000 viewers in the key demo, not 200,000. He basically tied Colbert. Second, you’re comparing apples and oranges, because you are comparing two comedians to a news

    Wrong!!! O’Reilly only got 200,000 viewers in the 18-49 demo. If you don’t believe me, simply look at the Top Cable shows for Wednesday and you’ll see O’Reilly in last place (100th) with only 200k.

    Also, Stewart and Colbert cover political news just like O’Reilly does. By the way, even O’Reilly refers to himself as an entertainer.

    Got’em!!!

  • Ratboy

    And this race baiting pr$#^ continues to get away with this!! And the loons on the left DEFEND him!! Makes me sick! And NO OReily and FOX does not do the same thing!!!!

    MSNBC’s Chris Matthews Declares: Congressman Steve King Is a Bigot

    Chris Matthews on Thursday smeared Congressman Steve King as a racist, declaring that the Republican representative to be “prejudiced against Latinos.” The liberal cable anchor came to the conclusion while discussing King’s attempts to change the 14th Amendment to exclude so-called “anchor babies.”

    Matthews played a 2011 clip of the congressman asserting that illegals “sneak into the United States for…the purposes of having the baby” and then ” they get the little birth certificate with their little feet prints on there.” The host pounced, “And the derogatory way he talks, you got the sense he might just be prejudiced against Latinos. Just a guess. Just a guess.” [See video below. MP3 audio here.] Guest Michael Steele retorted, “I know Steve well and I don’t get that sense from him.”

    Offensive, hyperbolic smears against conservatives are common on MSNBC. On Wednesday, Martin Bashir compared Rick Scott, the GOP governor of Florida, to a murderous communist dictator. On February 14, 2012, Bashir said that Rick Santorum was just like Joseph Stalin.

    On November 30, 2010, host Chris Jansing derided Congressman King a “radical right-winger” just prior to interviewing him

    O’Reilly is called news or fact. The show is legal obligated to verify the statement is correct. If they do not they can be removed from broadcast or sued by anyone for misinformation.

    If that was the case Oreilly would have been off the air long time ago.

  • Ratboy

    Mark2…………step away from the punch bowl

    OReily Had 492k in the 25-54 key which means he would have had to have 292 of that in the 5 year span of 49 – 54 and zero between 18 and 25

    I dont think your math is correct

  • Mark2

    @Ratboy

    It’s not my math, it’s the numbers that TVBTN is reporting. You and StanT need to start looking at the daily Top Cable shows list from this very website like Hillbilly and I do. Here’s the link in case you don’t believe me:

    http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2013/01/10/wednesday-cable-ratings-moonshiners-amish-mafia-win-night-american-horror-story-duck-dynasty-more/164849/

  • Ratboy

    @ Mark2

    You seemed to not have done your research again.

    If you see a 3.4 national adults 18-49 rating, that doesn’t mean 3.4 million adults 18-49, it just means 3.4 percent of the 126,540,000 adults 18-49 in the United States (down from 127,860,000 last season) who live in a household with a television were watching based on the Nielsen estimates for the 2012-13 television season.

  • cathy

    @redbarsoup, Read the broadcasting regulation. If you think O’Reilly is making things up and calling it news, then file a complaint with the FCC.

    BTW: Fox news and O’Reilly had had thousands of FCC complaints filed against them. To date these programs have only been fined for letting bad language on the airwaves. All cases of misinformation had been concerned unfounded by the FCC.

    Have have been studying history of Germany as of late. I can not see any reason to enter WWI. They would have fought until they were worn out like every other war and it would have ended.What did Germany do to us.In the end it would have been a stalemate with one side winning a little.I do not know which side.So why did Woodrow Wilson take us there, Money?

  • cathy

    @Rat, it’s not Mark2 mistake it math’s mistake or the sites mistake.

  • clinging to my god

    Mark 2…MSNBC is back to where it was before the election, bounce gone, gloating finished…give it up,your spinning getting pathetic, by the way where’s USA8888….

  • Mark2

    @Ratboy

    I already know this rookie. A single national rating point equals one percent of the total number, so 1% of 126,540,000 equals 1,265,400. So multiply that by O’Reilly’s .2 rating and you’ll see that O’Reilly is in the 200s.

    And if you want me to get technical on your azz, here are the detailed numbers for the 3 in the 18-49 demo:

    Jon Stewart = 885,780
    Colbert = 632,000
    O’Reilly = 253,080

    As you can see, O’Reilly doesn’t even come close to Stewart or Colbert. The future is looking bright for the Democratic Party.

    Got’em!!!

  • Ratboy

    @ O’Reilly’s .2 rating and you’ll see that O’Reilly is in the 200s.

    So using that chart Oreilly had 3.98 million views total and that aint right either!

    Not to mention that Oreilly, Colbert, and Stewert are not even close in the format and content of their shows and if the D’s are banking on those two for their future then we can start calling the party Ringling Brothers.

  • Mark2

    @Ratboy

    No, you rookie…the .2 is specifically for the 18-49 demo.
