CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD was the #1 Sunday morning news program in households, viewers and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Jan. 6, 2013. CBS SUNDAY MORNING posted a 4.3/11 with 6.02m viewers and a 1.5/07 in adults 25-54.
CBS SUNDAY MORNING posted its best household rating since March 10, 1996 and its best viewers delivery for the second consecutive week since Feb. 4, 1996. Compared to the same day last year, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +19% in households (from 3.6/10), +16% in viewers (from 5.20m) and +15% in adults 25-54 (from 1.3/06).
Season-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +8% in households (3.9/10 from 3.6/10), +6% in viewers (5.54m from 5.21m) and +7% in adults 25-54 (1.5/07 from 1.4/07) compared to last year.
Sunday’s broadcast featured David Martin’s interview with Ret. Army Gen. Stanley McChrystal, Michelle Miller’s profile of Academy Award nominee Quvenzhane Wallis, Mo Rocca’s feature on the sport of jump rope, Tracy Smith’s interview with Laura Dern and Lee Cowan’s segment on the film “56 Up.”
