Based on National ratings for the final week of 2012 (week of 12/24/12), “LIVE with Kelly and Michael” grew for the 3rd week in a row in both Households (+4% – 2.9 rating vs. 2.8 rating) and Total Viewers (+8% – 3.923 million vs. 3.619 million) to earn new highs for the season. In fact, “LIVE” scored its best HH rating and attracted its largest overall audience in 1 year – since the week of 12/26/11. “LIVE” also delivered gains for the 3rd straight week in Women 25-54 (+6% – 1.7 vs. 1.6) to match its strongest number in over 1 year – since w/o 11/21/11.


  • On Monday (12/24/12), “LIVE’s Christmas Eve Special” (4.303 million) attracted the show’s biggest audience for a single telecast in 10 months — since 2/27/12.


  • “LIVE” was the week’s No. 1 syndicated talk show in Households for the 2nd consecutive week, as well as in Total Viewers and Women 25-54.


  • On average for the 2012-13 season to date, “LIVE” is up through the same weeks last season by 14% in Women 18-34, and retains 100% of its year-ago delivery in Women 18-49 and Women 25-54 to match its strongest performance through this point in a season in 5 years – since the 2007-08 season. The year-to-year growth for “LIVE” is even more impressive considering its year-ago averages include the highly promoted and high rated weeks leading up to the departure of Regis in November.
