Totally agree on TBBT. Use to like it, but how many times do i have to keep hearing about superheros and startrek? Be creative! Seems like needs like dull consistency so they keep watching.

The funny thing is most nerds I know don’t like TBBT and instead they like Community. I liked personally liked the first couple of seasons but now its boring and I really don’t like the newer characters.

Actually, Grey’s Anatomy’s season 2 high was a 16.5 after the Super Bowl and an 11.2 for a regular episode.
Astounding numbers from TBBT. And PoI and TAAHM both reap the benefits.

NCIS is one of the most-viewed shows, but not the highest-rated; several shows top it in the ratings.

The premiere of Two and a Half Men got 10.7 in 18-49 and 28m viewers last season. The 2BG premiere that followed got 7.1 and 19m viewers.
What CBS must do now to make POI even bigger hit and at least drama beast is heavy and properly advertising during super bowl and grammys. And before that of course. In that period we will have 4 POI episodes in a row – 31(after best drama episode), 7(after super bowl week), 14(after Grammys week), 21(Jonathan Nolan debut as director and Sarah Shahi series debut). If they can build solid and even stronger fanbase will be great. POI was insane stable 2.9 all fall episodes. If they can make 3.5 new 2.9 will be perfect. Sarah Shahi role sound like future POI spin-off so CBS have a lot in stake here.(more money and one more drama hit) POI is hit and fresh much better chance for successful spin-off than one more ncis.
“Relevance” deserve TBBT lead-in. Its major episode with Nolan and Shahi debuts. Not many Nolan level (oscar winners) on tv these days.

Grey’s Anatomy has not relied on a lead-in since its first season. It eventually towered over its lead-in during its second season, and was then moved to anchor Thursday night.
I hate that NBC comedies that are usually 10times better than CBS’s get crap ratings and something like TBBT get that…
You see 20 million people watching the show, especially in an era of declining ratings across the board and all you have to say is “DAMN!”. The cast should be partying all the way to the bank and CBS better think about getting them an 8th season, QUICK.
I never got into this show until the middle of the 5th season. I’m glad I did though. It’s hilarious!
