    TBBT is already Renewed for a 7th Season but it is possible CBS Renews it again for another couple of Season ? Or they will wait to see how it’ll perform next season ?

    @A show needs 88 episodes in order to be sold into syndication, so no, POI will have to finish roughly four seasons before being able to negotiate a syndication deal.

    Because is WB show or for all shows is that rule? TVBTN in CBS page write that h50 will survive with explanation ‘syndication god demand it’, but h5o is also below 88 episodes. How TVBTN know that will go to syndication than?

  • MARTY

    yes petar that is correct 97% of this country all ages, races, sizes, incomes ect. have never heard of or seen them! that is the ratings gimmic i was stating. i know the numbers, like i stated was in sales 15rs!

    Nope, that’s the standard for stripped syndication. H50 is close to 88, right? If it’s close, then CBS will likely keep it around for another season, so that it can get into syndication before ending.

    @ Petar Ivanov

    wait, wait, wait…. so that means that most of the people in USA 97% never even hear for these shows? And never watch them? Is that right?

    YES…..

  • Petar Ivanov

    @Melissa

    Thursdays – yes. I watch schedules on zap2it, its good for info. But CM is against AI premiere. Also TBS put TBBT reruns on that night too. Usually BBT reruns are only on 10 and 10:30 at wednesdys. Now start at 8:30. And with all this buzz BBT rerun really crazy. One monday episode hit 1.8 on rerun.

    You’re statements are wrong. First of all, no, not “all ages, races, sizes”. 97% of the adults 18–49 demographic did not see the show. The total viewership numbers are different. Saying that a show’s rating represents who has heard of the show is horribly incorrect. Grey’s Anatomy is averaging a 3.3 this season, but it’s certain that at least 16.5% (it’s series high) of 18–49-year-olds have heard of the show (and likely much more people than that).

    Edit: I meant to type “Your” not “You’re”.

    melissa 8.5 million watched the show all ages races ect. 3% 341 million didnt watch all ages races ect. that is 97% your 3.3 is just over 3 percent nobody is watching, fact. even if i give the 16% 84% isnt

    @eridapo

    wow.. that sound crazy man. At least for Europe. In Europe one show is hit when most of the people watch it. So the same people watch the same shows over and over and over again(like me for example) and 97% of the people never ever hear for that show and that show is hit. Wowwww really sound insane. Insane man. ANd these actors are real “stars”… i mena most of them are guests on Leno, Letterman etc. before the season premiere usually. Insane. I must think about it tonight, but this can be hardly understand with europion thinking. Insane. So 97% of the people don’t even know this actors right@ Insane. Hard to get it.

    @ Melissa

    Actually Marty is right. It doesn’t matter who has heard of the show. What matter is who is watching it, and last night roughly only 3 people out of 100 between the ages of 18-49 actually tune in and watch. The balance was doing something else…

    In terms of Total viewers when compare to the whole US population (311.6 Million per the Census), Greys 9.337/311.6 is roughly 3%. If however you are talking about only the people who watch Television last night, Greys did get a HH rating of 6.1 and a HH share of 9. What that means is that roughly 6 people out of 100 who watch TV last night at 9PM were watching Greys…

  • MARTY

    erdapo, thank you the census puts the offical population around 312 million but the actual population is much more. we all know that!

    That’s not what he was saying, though. He was saying that a 3.3 means that 97% of people have not heard of the show, which obviously isn’t true.

  • MARTY

    melissa i said heard of or watched the show which is true

  • MARTY

    actually i said heard of or seen same thing

    I’m kind of surprised by TBBT numbers, i didn’t think it would get another series high. I enjoyed last week’s episode more than this one though.

    Congratulations to the FlopScandal fans, pretty good number for a 10 pm show and it didn’t get adjust down. I might take a look to it if it ever hits a 3 ….big IF

    @ eridapo

    Thanks for the beakdown on the 18-49 and what the 3.0 rating means for example (3% of the available 18-49 age group in America).

    Read most to the explanation for the ratings, etc th last 6 months or so. But your’s actually got through to my brain and made a bit more sense.

    That is fairly scary – all excited about my shows ratings but in the big scheme of things it’s very small (according to Neilson).

    ps. Happy PoI managed not to get adjusted down :)

  • Hugh

    Wow BB! Breaks 20m!

    Wierd 2.5 men down despite a bigger lead in
