Go CBS !
Thank goodness CSI: NY didn’t adjust down in 18-49 (though it was down about a mere 30,0000 in viewers vs the prelims). I was hesitant to be happy over its apparent season high because last Friday it was preempted here in Houston for a Texans special. The demo could have been higher had CSI: NY not been preempted. Houston is big Nielsen market. Oh well.
Did they seriously think a lot of people would watch a bunch of football fanatics getting drunk and partying?!
Wow at CSI: NY ! 10.71 million viewers is great and a 1.6 in demo was unexpected. Last year high in viewer was 10.73 million and 1.8 in demo. It’s good to see the Show still have great numbers for its 3rd year on Friday. Im hoping Renewal because Golden Boy will flop.
Why CBS didn’t premiere Golden Boy in the fall instead of Crap in Jersey ? Golden Boy seems to have more chances to be a hit than Jersey. After all it’s a New York procedural like CSI: NY and Blue Bloods. All three together would have been an amazing night !
When is Nikita coming back with original episodes? This summer?
@ rob60990
No. It returns January 18 !
“When is Nikita coming back with original episodes? This summer?”
It is interesting to note that after this week (which covers 17 of 35 available Fridays in the season) Nikita will only have aired 7 new episodes so far. The other Fall launch CW scripted shows will have aired 10 or 11 new episodes in the same period.
That leaves 15 original Nikitas for only 18 remaining Fridays.

Nope, this Friday.
Nikita repeats decently even if new eps do horrible. I was hoping Fringe would go up to a 0.9. I expect no more than a 1.2 for the finale.
Go CBS!
I loved Alias so I think i will check out Nikita on Netflix. I hope Nikita can atleast slightly improve with the remaining 15 eps it has left in season 3. I want to check out Arrow too which repeats decent for CW standards on Wed.
@Bill other CW shows (TVD, Arrow, SPN) aired 9 and the difference between them and Nikita is 2 episodes.
@Bill Gorman
Yes, that does seem odd, doesn’t it? Though I suppose it’s possible they wanted to reserve it to fill in spring gaps. Maybe. But it does seem strange that they would backload it in the spring, when the ratings for it would likely be worse.
And ‘scuse me while I roll my eyes at the sad little troll who thought using my handle to post a pro-Nikita post would fool anybody. Or help their show.
@Mi, My episode totals were as of the end of this week. At the end of this week all those shows will have aired 10 episodes to Nikita’s 7.
Bill, do you think it’s possible they might just carry the latter part of this season into the summer, see how it goes, and move a final season four to next summer if it works out? Nikita isn’t currently doing any worse than summer CW shows.
I’m gonna miss Fringe. It’s a special show, and I know only certain minds of interest would dig or get it, but it is ssssooo awesome. I know there is but so far you may go with the story line, but I wish it could’ve become syndicated. I’ll miss Walter, Olivia, Astrid, Peter and Jean!!! The little family I’ve come to live with. I’m already crying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As for Fringe, John Noble- You are a Great Actor ! Loved The Outsider also ! When you forget your watching a movie and melt into the show , you know it’s a good one
