For the first time in game show history, LET’S MAKE A DEAL, with host Wayne Brady, will allow fans to choose elements of an episode during a taping by voting on Twitter Friday, Jan. 25.  Fans can follow the action via the show’s Twitter handle @letsmakedealcbs beginning at 4:00 PM, ET / 1:00 PM, PT as the episode tapes.  The special episode will then air Wednesday, Jan. 30 (check local listings) on the CBS Television Network.

 

To participate and vote, fans can go to the show’s Twitter account or, if they don’t have an account, follow at http://CBS.com/deal.  Each act of the show will have a key element which fans can vote for – from deciding the prizes to affecting the “Big Deal of the Day.”  The votes will be tallied immediately and the most popular choices will be incorporated into the episode as it tapes.

 

“We are very Twitter-friendly at ‘Let’s Make a Deal,’” said executive producer Mike Richards.  “Every day, we let potential contestants know how to cash in on Quickie Deals and share news about new games and upcoming shows.  We are really excited about incorporating this new voting element into the show, and hope our loyal viewers, as well as some new ones, will have as much fun with this as we are.”
