Definitions:

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

LMAO at ABC comedies. Is that considered burnoff or just major shame? Revenge not exactly impressing either. Doesn’t seem to have much longevity.

  • Abigail

Once Upon a Time and Revenge did good :)

  • Tom

Not too bad for revenge considering Golden Globes. It will be up next week

  • gerry

oh, forgot to mention that is awesome for the globes. a shame we didn’t get more of amy and tina than we did, but they were great. (oh, and am looking v forward to the good wife also, as well as revenge).

  • DenverDean

I’ve watched every episode of REV and I have to say it is just a HOT MESS. I hope the rumored retooling happens soon because it has really lost it’s way.

  • glover

    Half hours:
    Once Upon a Time 2.8/2.8
    60 Minutes 4.5/3.0

The Good Wife didn’t had a lead-in so much higher than Revenge.

Accept that: Revenge is a flop

  • frodo

Scandal is no big hit, its just doing good at a night with barely any competition. ABC hast turned into the laughing stock of network TV, they can barely get anything over a 3.0 these days. Revenge is doing horribly, I have supported it for some time now but its past its peak and will be lucky to see season 3 at this point! Writers delivered another pathetic episode. The show has been ruined and the viewers are no longer watching. Its a shame season 1 was a blast! Season 2 has had its good moments but the story is all over the place, Emily Van Camp and Madeline Stowe are wasted and the viewers are long gone. Even on social media, Revenge’s steam has fizzled. Its a shame.

  • Remote Patrolled

I’m a big Revenge fan but what we’re seeing is the result of a sloppy first half of Season 2.

The Revenge producers allowed the show to get flabby, with too many plotlines and the whole ridiculous Initiative angle. Viewers started turning off and now the show has to work twice as hard to get back on track.

Revenge SHOULD have popped massively this season – it had the timeslot and the promotion. But if the writing isn’t there – well this is what happens!

  • BH

OUAT and Revenge did well if we look at the competition!

  • SarahL

I am disappointed about Once Upon a Time. This season has been so good. I don’t know why more people are not watching.

  • BetaRayBob

I’m going to miss you, Happy Endings. :(

  • Joe

@ max I watch and enjoy both shows

  • Petar Ivanov

    SO:
    CBS have Grammys
    abc Oscars
    NBC golden globes
and Emmys for all networks is that correct?

  • Woody

That’s actually pretty good for The Mentalist. Despite starting late in some parts of the country and being up against the Globes, it only dropped .1 from last weeks season high.

I’ve said all along that I don’t see CBS cancelling The Mentalist. There not going to get anything else doing better in that slot.

  • Alex

Why, oh why do ABC continue to air originals against The Golden Globes?

  • BH

    @glover

Are you crazy? Look at GGA ratings!5.4 IS HUGE. OUAT is down by 3 tenths and Revenge is by 4. How is that a FLOP? I say it did pretty well such a huge competition!
Some people dont use their minds before posting!

  • Melissa

    Total viewership for Golden Globes?

  • frodo

Yeah I am a huge Revenge fan, its still a pretty good show but last season it was one of the best new shows to debut! Its hard to admit but its loosing steam fast and that is because of the writing. At this point, do not see Revenge getting back to the high or mid 2′s, many people have left the show, and week after week this can be seen in the overall rating. Its flopping.

  • American

Wish OUAT had held up better, but it’ll bounce back next week.

  • MDM

Nice to see Bob’s Burgers hold the Simpsons audience the past couple of weeks.
