Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

FIRST I am a big fan of REVENGE but the shows falling numbers will continue to follow its downward trend.

Last nights episode was dumb. I cannot even keep up with all the plot lines going on, I find myself lost while watching this show. It has also become so over-the-top it’s totally unbelievable anymore! Aiden has ruined much of this season and if they don’t get rid of his character than I’m done with it.

I really enjoyed last season but now it’s way too hard to keep up with. I think they need to CLEAN UP AND CLOSE SHOP with the PORTERS. Keep Jack and as much as I like FauxAmanda she really serves no prupose anymore. I completley forgot last night that Charlotte thinks thats her sister. There is so much going on with this show it’s easy to lose track and I wondered “how the heck do they know eachother?” then I remember her massive fall off the stairs, in which it appears, she didn’t even suffer any broken bones!

Too Camp and way too much going on. Wrap Porters up. Kill off Declan. Do something with FauxAmanda or get rid of her (she was a great character). Leave the Porters with just Jack and give him something to do. PLEASE wrap up this storyline with Helen and Aiden and GET RID OF THEM!

If they keep up with the confusing plots and over-the-top storylines people are just gonna confuse me and stop watching. I can see high 1’s if they dont do something soon!

PS- WHY IN THE WORLD with everyone Ashley knows on the Greysons would she come back and demand her old job back? I mean, really!? with everything you have on them “knowing where the bodies are buried” so to speak, uhhh..one would think blackmail!? Asking for your old position back with a family that wants nothing to do with you and getting paid the same with the dirt you have on them? YEAH! MAKES TOTAL SENSE!

Of all the animation shows, “American Dad!” is the one that had the smallest drop from last week’s football inflated numbers. Well deserved. It’s by far the funniest of the animations, although they’re all good.

It wasn’t a bad night for FOX. “Bob’s Burgers” only lost one tenth after “The Simpsons” and both “Family Guy” and “American Dad!” beat “Revenge” by a wide margin. Not that I’m rooting against “Revenge”, I’m just happy for the animated shows.

  • JJA

Once Upon a Time and Revenge are jumping the shark. They are terrible this season, and their ratings are reflecting this.

Frankly, it seems these two will go the way of Glee (rather than Lost). In other words, they’ll be renewed and make it into 4 or 5 seasons, but their popularity will wane (both in terms of ratings and “buzz”).

  • Match

    Sorry Shonda not Shandra.

  • Fred

If I recall correctly, DH was averaging a bit higher last season than Revenge. Hard to compare , because DH was considered a hit show for ABC throughout most of its 8 season run. Even last years depressed #s were still OK for ABC.
While I’m still a fan of Revenge, it is no where close to being the addiction DH (even at its worst) was for me. Perhaps the Revege showrunners can focus on the charcaters that work. Too much screen time devoted to the boring Initiative, Nolan’s employees/love interests and the bar.

  • Devin

I see ABC putting SHIELD on at 8 next year, followed by OUAT and Revenge at 10.

  • Sammy

This whole Scandal vs Revenge argument is plain silly! What the hell does one show have to do with the other?

Revenge is, IMO, suffering from a sophomore slump and I’m not talking about ratings … Im talking about writing.
The Initiative silliness, the overcrowded canvas, the fact that its veered so far off of its s1 bible that it doesn’t even feel like the same show anymore. *That’s* the biggest problem for me.

Scandal is on a high and I’m talking about writing, acting, and story wise.

  • Acey

Loved these Globes… first award show in awhile that was worth watching.

  • Mi

I think Revenge will get renewed and think it should be moved to Sundays at 10PM next year, with the S.H.I.E.L.D airing in between Once and Revenge.

  • Fred

While OUAT is not quite the remarkable show it was last season, it still is quite entertaining. Too much attention on boring characters. But recently OUAT has become exciting again.

  • Petar Ivanov

@I see ABC putting SHIELD on at 8 next year, followed by OUAT and Revenge at 10.

yep. But that is all they have, If SHIELD flop abc are dead. Greys will be at good wife levels and MF will be only strong show they have.

  • HT

The Good Wife had 4 million viewers more than revenge – do those 4 million viewers really not mattter because they’re 40+?

  • Mi

Once is a family show and there is no way that ABC would even consider moving it. They’ll lose the 18-49 ratings that watch it with their children if they do.

  • a p garcia

I kinda of expected the drop on ABC shows seeing that Tina Fey and Amy Poehler did a surburb job and one for the ages even Johnny Carson couldn’t have done better but there is always next week for ABC.

  • Andrew Dias

Petar Ivanov, I’d love to know when will GA’s be at TGW’s levels when it’s still pulling in the 2.9-3.1 range. If I remember correctly, the 3.1 GA’s is around the series highest for TGW. I highly doubt GA will be anywhere near TGW’s numbers next year.

  • Mi

@HT make that 50+ and yeah.. they don’t count.

  • K

Could be that Revenge has played itself out and has nothing left.

  • RyanCanada

well i watched the Golden Globes, and i DVR’d OUAT, Revenge, Happen Endings, Apt23, and LOST GIRL, and i watched HBO’s Girls live @ 10pm after the GolderGlobes, and Wow, Amy Polar and Tiny Fay were so hilarous, i was so impressed with that show.

  • David Howell

Scandal overtaking Revenge sounds like it’s a case of the writing in season 2 making a difference to both shows. Neither is getting cancelled though, and certainly not because of the other. Scandal vs GCB last season would have been another matter, that’s a rivalry where one and only one would be on the 2012-13 schedule (and the Alphabet made the right call, to say the least).

Waiting for the unscrambled numbers to see what happens to CBS but an 11:07pm start time for Mentalist has got to hurt. That’ll get revised even lower in the finals I reckon. TGW will certainly be adjusted downwards (perhaps by several tenths) – the entire last hour of the playoff game in the West Coast is in that fast national number, and if a regular season game in one market can drag a CW show down two tenths…

  • Mayans

Tina and Amy did an awesome job. I was genuinely L O L when they made that comment about Taylor Swift.
