  • Jimmy James

    A re-run, lol.

  • SVUnCI

Shoulda just kept Park Ave there for those last 3-4 episodes.

  • Sinek

    Dead shows walking away…

  • Ryan Schwartz

If it wasn’t clear before, it’s clear now: Happy Endings and Apartment 23 will be cancelled come May, that is, if ABC waits that long to make their announcement.

  • jimmers

tisk tisk tisk ABC! I very much dislike you at this moment.

  • Mike

ABC clearly doesn’t think. They always cancel and change their schedule. MAKE UP YOUR MIND ABC!!!

  • Dan

They should have just kept the Happy Endings and Apartment 23 there. Thats lot and Thursdays at 8 are horrible for ABC.

  • Sel

I don’t understand you Americans at all!You people watch kardashians, honey boo, bajilion versions of an unreal housewives reality trash, and a lot more crap, but ignore such good comedies like HE and Apartment 23…Here in Europe we depend on your interest of television, I just wish US shows unpopular in US and popular in Europe to get renewed anyway, but sadly thats never gonna happen.

  • DW

the b was fun for about 6 ep and then it was time to move on. it had a fine run. theres always repeats on hulu.

  • Pat

@sel as an American. i agree. HE is a fantastically written and acted show and people would rather watch reality crap. i simply dont get it.

  • DW

@ sel. we dont understand ourselves either. i dont watch the reality thats on in my country. if these were on cable it would maybe have a little nice run.

  • Fake Me Out

It sucks for the fans of the shows but I at least give props to ABC for trying something different and outside the box. Yes, I think they should have let 666 run it’s course in the slot, but when they decided to yank it (for which I give anti-props) they tried something newish … and that is what the network broadcasters are going to have to do if they hope to slow the declines they’ve been suffering for decades.

    ymmv

PS: Watch ‘Apt 23′ … it’s not that bad and Van Der Beek is a hoot and a half playing a “fictionalized” version of himself … which we all know is a lie … he thinks he’s actually doing a reality show and no one has told him. :-)

  • Dan

Rules number 1 of being a network, never publicly cancel bubble shows until May while the shows are still airing. Translation, ABC ordered 22 episodes of Happy Endings and by default a full 19 episode season of Apartment 23, they need to burn through them as quickly as possible.

  • Colin

Idk why they wont air the remaining 666 Park Ave!!!

  • jake

Now that TCD has flopped, The CW may pick up Apt 23.

  • Jayson

The problem with HE and Apt 23 are that both comedies are too niche. Count me in as one of the fans upset that 666 was taken off the schedule when it was promised by ABC that they would run the show through its last episode… its called closure ABC.

  • John A

Why not air 666 Park Avenue Burn off?

  • John A

And ABC should dump them off Tuesday too.

  • Amy

Krysten Ritter is the star of Apt 23. I hope she finds work on another sitcom.

  • Fred

So happy, other posters agree that 666 should have stayed put until the end. Or at least air the remaining eps now that the sitcoms aren’t there.
Shark Tank is a low budget very profitable and popular show. But shouldn’t be used as filler even if it is a financially wise move.
