   Diamond Dave,

   I agree. I only watch BO and he definitely leans right but he does call out both sides (but more the left). He makes no bones about what he believes but he has his faults like anyone else. I used to watch Hannity when he was with Colmes and found him to at least respect the other side. Has he changed?

   Hannity is really good at pointing out the hypocrisy of the left and the MSM, but I feel a lot of times he suffers from a lack of research on the topics he chooses to argue. There are many times a guest actually turns the table on him, and for a moment he looks like a deer in the headlights before he changes the subject. I watch him mostly for about a year leading up to a major election, but otherwise it’s not must see TV. He has had Colmes back as a guest once in a while, and he maintains that the two are still good friends, but I haven’t seen Bob Beckel on there for a long time. It may have to do with the fact that Beckel doesn’t know how to behave himself on live television. Or there may have been a falling out.

   Hannity definitely has his audience, as is evidenced by the fact that he also has the #2 radio show (after Limbaugh), but his appeal is more limited, and political. Whereas O’Reilly has broader appeal because he covers a wider range of subject matter.

   Redbarsoup, Why are you trying to put words in my mouth? I didn’t say anything about what Obama is going to do. I don’t know. None of us will know until tomorrow.

   I merely opened up all gun control for debate and stated by point of view. I’ll say this though. A 300lbs 6’8″ physical fit male criminal may think about trying to disarm a young lady with a hand gun. But he is going to run away from her when he sees her holding a M-16.

   Kendall, I think every able body person can made it. I think we should help out the mentally and physically challenged. There are some that don’t make it because they are taken advantage of by friends, family and con-artist. Those people don’t turn to crime. Most people who are criminals do it by choice. Most have never worked and those that did work have found that crime is easier then working. Every society has crime and will always have crime. So we do need a way to try and keep guns away from the criminals and we do need to keep them away from the mentally ill.

   A lot of people get upset with me when I say this but I feel it’s the truth. I blame the shooter and the shooter’s mother for Sandy Hook, mainly, the shooter’s mother. It is totally irresponsible to keep any type of weapon (gun or hunting knife) in a home with a mentally ill person.

   I don’t see the need for military-style “assualt” rifles with 10+ round magazines, but would not advocate banning them. I would agree with universal background checks and registration. I believe that mentally unbalanced people (officially diagnosed) should not be allow to acquire guns. And, I agree that the gun-show loop hole should be closed.

   First, military-style assult rifles are already banned…they’re called “automatic weapons”, and can fire either single shot or automatic…When i was a kid, I owned a pellet gun that looked like a military 45…that didn’t make it a military 45…second, gun shows are not the problem the left pretends they are…as like only 1% of all gun crimes are committed by guns purchased at gun shows…in fact, Eric Holder sold more guns through fast and furious that killed people than do gun shows, and he’s not banned….

   What’s fun is yesterday during History class we read a segment how the British used to go door to door and take peoples guns. Guess we have come full circle

   Gooood Morning
   Just yesterday around here the police surrounded a group of 15 and 16 year olds as they were getting ready to have some kind of nerf or sock gun (what ever that is)game. I gues it is just better if they all stay in the house with their computer or video games blowing the heads off of people and watching the blood splatter instead of going outside for some running around and fresh air and excersise!
   The kids did not get in trouble but the game was stopped as a bad idea!
   When does the wall go up and the uniforms get distributed??

    How would these changes have stop Sandyhook ? The young man fail a backround check was denied a gun permit. That didn’t stop him ,so he killed his mother took her guns. So ban assault weapons and 30 round clips, but there thousands already legal and illegally out there. So is the ATF going to come your house and take them away ? Dont think that will go over well. Have more harsh penalties for gun violation in gun free zones, I sure the crazy person worries about that. NRA was laughed at about this but have armed guards at schools seem reasonable. Our problems with mental illness and getting these pepole help needs to be addressed.

    Thanks for info on group at Andrews. Andrews is near where I gre up. It is a distance from here if they are in the central Texas area let me know.
    I heard Wilkow say yesterday that gun clips don’t come in a 7 bullet clip so essentially what obama is doing is limiting it to 5 bullets. I can’t believe we have 4 more years of him.

    Its the same as it is with the soda bans, Smoking Bans, Salt Bans etc…It’s an excersise in seeing just how far the Government can go to gain total control over our lives.

    At their site newsboys com they list the concert dates and ticket info, and you can buy their CD’s most of the time under 10 bucks. The band (Newsboys) have been around for many years although they have made recent personal changes they are still a top flight group.

    They wouldn’t have, and my point at every meeting about it is one bullit can can as easy as 100. Only the law abiding citizens will obey and new laws anyway.

    I wonder if Chicago, Detroit, LA, etc. are going to check with the gangs to see if they abide

    I dont know why the NRA gets hammered since they are all for guns safety and education and the bad guys dont join groups like that as a rule. The bad guys will not throw away the big clips they already have and will be able to get them if they want them (thats what bad guys do, they get illegal stuff) aand has anybody thought about how crazy or menaly ill people think?
    “Hmmm now the government says we cant have and use these weapons so I will show them!!! I will go shoot something up real bad to show em!”

    The other thing that would make me think twice if I were King Obama, take the guns away or restrict uses and it just might make him a bigger target for some crazy person to show him that they still exsist. He could end up as the recipient of bullets 8, 9, and 10.

    Zero Dark Thirty..good flick, however I’m not so sure whoever gave them info on operations of the special forces gave them good info… LOL

    BBL… Science lession time today we study a object in the universe that is 4.5 billion light years in size, which scientist are baffeled by because its supposed to be impossible for aything of that size to even exsist

    Oh well, they just recently discovered that water boils and freezes at different temps due to different sea level pressures. Now how long has the boiling point supposed to have been known? yuk yuk

    I think part of King Obamas proposal should be that if he gets all his bans and restrictions and whatever in place he will give up the armed guards at his daughters school and his armed guards that are all around him and his wife to show us how stupid to think that it would not work!

    And I have a question, if you go back to the beginning of time, what was there before? And if you go to the end of time, what comes after? And if the universe in fact does have an end, whats on the other side?
