TBBT also adjusted up a tenth.

Dam, I wanted The Carrie Diaries to go up :/ Was extremely surprised by how good it was! Hopefully, it grows, gets bigger as it goes on.

  • Lane

    Season high for Bachelor?

  • Kyle

Was hoping for Castle to be adjusted up. Well at least it found it’s floor for the season. Around 2 which will hopefully get it renewed!

Wow The Bachelor still does respectable numbers. I hate that show but man the ratings have been very consistent every season. Good filler for ABC though.

Go The Bachelor. I won’t be surprised to see another rise next week. Sean is a nice guy and the women are crazy. :D

Very strong for How I Met Your Mother. Just a couple of months ago, Partners was tanking those CBS comedies.

Bad drop for Deception. Won’t be surprised to see it keep dropping. Despite the similarities with Revenge I was willing to give it a try but it just isn’t very good.

I actually think HIMYM’s ratings are more impressive than 2BG. Remember, HIMYM aired at 8:00 with no lead in. 2BG had a good lead in from TBBT and only was .2 higher.

I knew The Carrie Diaries would not be well sampled. Sex & the City fans were not going to be all that interested in this.

Great night for CBS. Im afraid Monday night will fall when Rules will premiere on February 4. Rules getting more than a 3.0 seems paranormal.

I added in viewer totals & the 9p repeat of the Carrie Diaries.

    @DeanW

CBS will probably have a very good night on February 4th, because they will get lots of Super Bowl promotion the night before. However, I agree that they will fall in the succeeding weeks after that. ROE will barely get a 3.0.

Shows how well the CBS comedies do without The Voice as competition.

Also, not so sure about The Batchelor being filler, doing better in demo than last run of DWTS.

Real shame about The Carrie Diaries, will hold out a sliver of hope until i see next weeks ratings but after that i will just enjoy the episodes that will air.

I remember last year during the fall CBS’s comedies were ranging in the mid to low 4′s/high 3′s. And when the Voice was on this fall it was pulling only Low to mid threes. Makes me think that The Voice should moves days at least during the Fall. Obviously they share a big chunk of eachother’s audiences and there both losing viewers. But I doubt they’ll change the voice’s position any time soon

Wow carrie diaries, is cw biggest flop since Melrose Place

  • forg

TBBT rerun has the been the best lead in for 2BG this season. Imagine if CBS decided to have 2BG instead of 2.5 Men in the Thu 8:30 slot, I think it could be pulling high 4s to low 5s consistently

RoE’s ratings may actually surprise a few people when it returns. It’s been airing in syndication since the fall, and it may have picked up a few new viewers that will want to watch the new episodes.

    @ Billy

Last year ratings for Rules of Engagement:
    Episode 1 = 3.6 (11.45m)
    Episode 2 = 3.3 (10.62m)
    Episode 3 = 3.7 (11.81m)
    Episode 4 = 3.5 (11.57m)
    Episode 5 = 3.6 (10.90m)
    Episode 6 = 3.0 (9.95m)
    Episode 7 = 2.7 (9.53m)
    Episode 8 = 2.7 (8.65m)
    Episode 9 = 2.7 (8.58m)
    Episode 10 = 2.7 (8.46m)
    Episode 11 = 2.2 (7.57m)
    Episode 12 = 2.5 (8.17m)
    Episode 13 = 2.7 (8.88m)
    Episode 14 = 2.7 (8.77m)
    Episode 15 = 2.1 (7.17m)

And the Show aired after TBBT so on Monday it will get at most 2.8.

i’m not sure most people are aware shows are back , january is an iffy month, its hard to get back into the swing of regular tv schedule after the break, that’s where a few shows lose me if i’m not a huge fan

  • CH2164

    Emily Owens,MD Premiered with a 0.5 rating & 1.69 million total viewers

The Carrie Diaries Premiered with 0.6 & 1.61 million total viewers

we know all where it’s next to stop is,yep that’s right folks the graveyard,It’s going to suffer the same fate :)

  • DenverDean

TCD would’ve been better served with a preview after a new TVD and then air next episode on Monday with 90210. It’s tough to ask a new show to just carry a night – especially on CW.

  • Ram510

    @billy and deanw

I’m sure Feburary 4th will be a good night for CBS. I’m sure Rules of Engagement can get over a 3.0 will the Super Bowl on the night before. Clearly CBS doesn’t expect RoE to get TBBT numbers, if that were true than all of there comedies would be cancelled. It should be about on par with M&M.
