The Carrie DDaries had lots of promotion and only got a .6. That is not good. I bet it iwll fall next week.
the carrie diaries promos were AWFUL. the CW has zero idea on how to promote. their commercials are the worst. always 20 seconds and random.
the previews for the carrie diaries featured the worst/cheesiest dialogue and made it seem like something for the disney channel audience (if they were allowed to talk about sex and stuff).
Deception fell hard
The Bachelor is doing better than DWTS this year

NBC
@Evan
NBC won’t move The Voice from a Monday to satisfy CBS, remember they are competition to each other!
i like deception ppl should watch!!!
Bones is steady as a rock!
NBC is dead without “The Voice”.
CBS comedies did amazing. Great numbers. Hawaii FO should had done better with such a strong lead in.
Hawaii Five-0 is going to get a “we’ve only renewed this show for the syndication dollars” slot on the CBS schedule next season – Friday at 9 or Sunday at 10. If you can only get a 2.4 with a 3.5 lead-in and frankly pitiful competition…
I’m still laughing at the CW scheduling the same episode to run twice in a row. That’s the sort of thing I thought was a parody (from my vantage point in England, where admittedly this is irrelevant anyway because all the significant commercial channels have “+1″ one-hour timeshift channels). I’ll wait until next week’s single airing before declaring it DOA. I don’t expect to wait longer than that, though.
Great numbers for CBS on all shows ,
@David Howell
If H50 ratings remain consistent 2.4 – 2.6 till the end of the season, it shouldn’t be moved at all. What other show can compete with “Revolution”,
“Castle” and Monday night football and get numbers even remotely close to H50?
I hope this reality crap continues to tank! I really love to see THE BACHELOR go down to high 1′s and low 2′s. I’m so tired of this kind of crap! The only ones worth watching are BIG BROTHER AND SURVIVOR and Big Brother doesn’t interupt quality scripted fare because it airs in the summer. SURVIVOR WAS the first and thus always deserves a place on network TV but HOLY I’m tired of all this reality stuff!
Sure the guy seems cool but can’t they just sell this stuff to LIFETIME? and focus on building a quality network!? ABC is by far the worst network on TV with their stupid decisions (HAPPY ENDINGS, 666 PARK AVE) seems like a bunch of 12-year-old girls run this network. Even their press releases are a joke! I also believe THE LAST RESORT would of had a KILLER chance on CBS after NCIS:L.A but ABC grabbed it and KILLED IT!
If the CW keeps going this route (Carrie diaries) get used to numbers like THAT and lower. One FLUFF show “Hart Of Dixie” (and I watch it) is truly enough! focus on what works ARROW, VD, SUPERNATURAL. When your only really FLUFF show is already a BUBBLE SHOW (HOD) why in the world would you greenlight another one if your struggling with TWO already?? EMILY OWENS AND HOD.
No adjustment for Deception? Thats GREAT!
Adjustment up for Bachelor did follow thru to Castle
H50 strong start to second half of season (2nd highest rated scripted 10 pm show of the week on network TV).
I could be wrong, but I’ve always read that january-February are TV’s strongest months, ratingswise. Nationally, there’s a captive audience, as it’s cold and dark outside, there are no holidays to disrupt viewing patterns, and people are ready to settle in and watch some TV.
That’s why I’m always surprised when the networks schedule a week of reruns during those months. It seems like the perfect time to draw in as many people as possible with new shows.
CASTLE will surely get renewed…one of only a few programs performing consistently on ABC, and doing fairly will on TNT, so there is a desire for more syndication revenue.
But I do wish it would move. My suggestion, Sundays for the FALL:
AMERICAS FUNNIEST VIDEOS
ONCE UPON A TIME
SHIELD–go up against SNF and reclaim Sunday night.
CASTLE
@Brian
ABC needs to use SHIELD for new shows not old ones which stayed in protected time-slot far to long and would collapse on its own.
Go Bones and HFO!
