You can see TV ratings from other recent Overnight ratings reports here.

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

I love how some people are hating tcd. And they want it to fail so bad. If u dont like it DONT WATCH IT!! But someone else may like the show. Its not like your life is ruined cuz a show u dont like is on.

  • Mark3

Tcd got a 1.0 when combined. Thats probably what it would of got if it only aired once. Which is great for tge CW standards :) word of mouth will spread and stay tge same as it is now which would mean renewal. Its a surprisingly good show!!!

  • Billy

Since TBBT beat Idol almost every week last year, and Idol will be weaker this year with TBBT being stronger, I fully expect TBBT to be the top show on Thursdays by a wide margin. TBBT is in repeats for the next two weeks so the killing of American Idol will not start until January 31.

  • Mark3

@jja. I agree with u. Carrie is a good show and the ratings were bout 2.5 mill and a 1.0 .thats good!! Dont listen to the haters who just hate shows cuz they have to hate something and have nothing better to do. Its like if a show is on it ruins there life or something lol

  • Networkman

oh no, Deception ratings are cause for concern. It is only able to manage a little over 4 million viewers. If it continues to slip, NBC should simply move it Saturday and put Chicago Fire repeats behind The Biggest Loser. That would hopefully help Chicago Fire gain new viewers. I’m concerned that Deception will eventually slip into low 1’s for demo.

As for CBS, I know that must be satistfied to see H50 rebound, performing better than what it did at the beginning of the season. But they have to realize that they are still capable of doing better in this timeslot. I would of loved to see H50 at least garner over 10 million viewers. And with Mike & Molly’s strong demo as a lead in, I would of loved to see H50 garner at least a 2.8 demo. Scandal was able to capture those results.

  • DeanW

The Carrie Diary will be canceled. It’s the new Emily Owens !

  • Networkman

ABC should really consider placing Castle on Friday night this Fall. If it is able to maintain 1.6-1.9 demo on that night, that would be great for the network.

  • Melissa

Approximately four hours has elapsed since the normal posting time for final ratings. TV by the Numbers, are you going to report a delay or something?

  • Methix

i have a feeling Hawaii five 0 will be adjusted up , last night was a great episode , all those people saying it did bad cause no revolution lets see what revolution pulls when it comes back it was on a downward spiral before it went onto break , and it was a long break two. and lets not forget H50 seaosn three premiered with a 1.8 , and mid season return is pulling a 2.4 i dont see it moving to friday maybe sunday if the ratings stay the same if it goes up its staying in the slot its in now , ignore the haters

  • Richard Steven Hack

Deception is dead in the water. Comparisons with Revenge were just ridiculous.

As expected, Carrie Diaries is dead in the water.

Next up – Cult will likely “die very badly” as the premise is too confused.

  • Ateofi

H50 will air special episode after AFC football championship this Sunday. It will definitely boost the ratings.

  • PhilipM

@Linda E.: H5O doesn’t have any advocates at CBS? Did you happen to catch next Sunday’s line-up? The post above this one might be of help.

The problem is that H5O is down quite a bit versus last year. It would be reasonable on CBS’s part to think that a new show could do better with M&M’s pretty big lead-in. That doesn’t mean H5O will be moved since that TNT syndication deal is extremely lucrative. Rest assured that CBS will be very supportive of H5O.

  • Linda E.

@PhilipM: I concede that CBS is now making an effort to help HF-0, with the post – football slot. They also have some interesting storylines coming up for the second half of the season. I hope all that will be enough.
It looks like the network finally paid attention to the criticisms of the sometimes sloppy writing and unrealism in the first two seasons. This season has been mostly good IMO, except for the helicopter-iron claw bit in the season opener. LOL Some people feel that the stories have now gotten too
soft and that they’ve gotten away from the grittier plots of the first season. I don’t know. It’s all opinion.
CBS needs to do enough to retain its audience when Revolution returns and also do well enough to live beyond next season or whenever the syndication
commitment has been met. The fans would be happy if the show got moved to Tuesday. That would be the clincher to convince fans that the network is really behind the show, I think. Cheers !!!

    1 contender less. Go BATB!

  • Castle Lover

They always adjust up for Hawaii 5-0 I guess CBS is in good with Nielson.I watched HF-5 once and lets just say it doesn’t compare at all to the original I haven’t watched since.
