You can see TV ratings from other recent Overnight ratings reports here.

Definitions:

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

Is it me or is HIMYM getting better and better… 8×12 was the best but 8×13 was also great :)I’m just happy it’s getting funny again after a few bad episodes in the start of the 8th season :)

  • Rob

Deception is getting what I had hoped. NBC shouldn’t have removed Revolution for so long.

  • madbengalsfan85

Glad to see Bones held steady at 2.1 for both hours

  • Dillan

The CW shouldn’t have repeated TCD at 9, I think next week is the real test.

  • madbengalsfan85

Also…damn, it feels good to be back!

  • JONNYSBRO

Why does it seem like everytime CBS airs the Big Bang Theory Repeat the whole lineup rises. IMO unless CBS has a great new show to premiere at 830 why rush anything it in. Keep the BBT repeat in the slot for the rest of the season. CBS can save a ton of money this way. It generates so many repeat viewers that they would save a fortune in not airing another show in the slot. I love that How I Met Your Mother is doing great. Its going to get a final 9th season and thats great. 2 Broke Girls is busting out. Mike and Molly does very solid numbers for a show that has much less hype then hte other comedies.

  • Mon

2 Broke Girls did a great job, only 0.1 behind 2.5Men’s rating last Thursday. I hope it adjusts up since it ran until 9:32/8:32c. Go for broke!

For a ridiculously overhyped episode, Hawaii Five-0 did ok. I think CBS expected a bit higher.

  • Amy

@ mariah I disagree. I agree with Oliver. Who is the audience for TCD???

  • Oliver

NBC has to be delighted with how TBL is performing.

    …Deception, not so much.

  • JR35

CW just can’t win, can it?

  • Maximillian

Looks like Carrie actually skewed a little old. Not really shocked there.
Cute pilot… wonder what CW will do with it.

  • Val

Is it just me or is The Carrie Diaries almost the exact same story as Jane By Design?!?!? I preferred the latter.

  • Joseph

Good for 2BG and TBBT repeat!

  • Timmy G

2BG was pretty funny last night; even though it still stereotypes terribly. YAY HIMYM!

The Carrie Diaries…what a disaster. Almost did as bad as Emily Owens. Shame too because the pilot was really charming, but it doesn’t know who its audience is.

Hopefully though this causes 90210 to stay low and next season the CW will be done with the teen girl dramas. Besides, we already have 3 strong contenders in the Originals, Amazon, and the Tomorrow People.

  • John A

Castle steady with that 1.9. I thought TBBT repeat would beat HIMYM. Still great retention CBS Should not bother with Rules.

  • Joey

TCD flop big time. Lmao @ Deception. Good or TBG

  • Nasir

Bones did well 15mill and 4.2 for th night good for cbs

  • Hmm

    There goes Deception…

  • senor chang

Fun Deception fact: it’s following the same ratings trend as Awake (2.0 premiere, 1.6 in the second episode). It has a strong lead-in in TBL, though, so who knows where it’ll bottom out.

Pretty ghastly premiere for Carrie Diaries, though it seems like it has network support. It could surprise in week 2.

  • DeanW

Bad for Hawaii Five-0 :( Last night was very good and it was great to vote for the killer !
