Definitions:

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

  • Me

    TCD almost exactly I expected.

  • RyanCanada

i watched Bones Live, and PVR’s Carrie Diaries and 2BG and M&M, i wished TCD preformed better, and bones deserves better numbers thene that, such a well done show! so happy it was renewed

  • Max Vrany

@JONNYSBRO, CBS doesn’t have enough Big Bang repeats left. They can only air each episode 3 times.

  • Amy

I don’t think TCD will improve. The demo the CW wants are watching the CBS comedies and later this year will be watching The Voice also.

  • JoJo

Kinda surprised at the ratings for The Carrie Diaries but considering it had an encore airing at 9pm and 2million total viewers I wouldn’t consider it a flop just yet but it doesn’t have much room to fall.

  • Match

I saw a commercial for Deception being named TV newest guilty pleasure. What a laugh that was it’s a debacle. Sorry about that and go 2 Broke Girls. :)

  • Billy

Deception is looking like a bust for NBC. A huge mistake for NBC to be holding the Voice until the middle of March. They should bring it back in February. By the time The Voice returns Idol will already own the singing show audience for the spring. Much too late to bring back The Voice.

  • Mae

Disappointed about Carrie Diaries. I watched it with very low expectations and actually found it to be incredibly charming. I loved Carrie’s “voice” – CW did a great job with casting Carrie.

I wonder if word-of-mouth will help it out any next week. I have seen incredibly positive responses to it online.

  • CenterGravity

    Go Bones!

Looks like Hawaii Five-O has settled into some nice numbers for its timeslot.

  • TimsDale4ever

lol at that stupied Carrie BS.

  • brandon

Looks like it would’ve been easier to just keep Gossip Girl going!

  • Jane

I predicted a 0.5 rating so this sounds about right.

  • Maximillian

While I dont think TCD will improve, I dont know if they will drop either. They did have the premiere twice, and that could have hurt TCD numbers some. I think it will score another .6 – .7 next week.

  • Sammy01

Bones proving it deserves that season 9 pick up. Helping Fox to 3rd for the night all by itself.

Fox would have probably been 3rd most Mondays this season had they been able to find something to pair with Bones.

  • cas

Too bad for Carrie diaries, I wasn’t sure it was a good idea anyway. I am sad about Deception, mainly because I love some of the cast. At least I won’t get to invested in it now, since it seems to be on its way to cancelation. Although I thought that about Chicago Fire, so I didn’t watch it, and now it’s most likely going to be renewed.

  • Jaime

I guess the audience CW usually attracts isn’t really interesting in a prequel series for a show they probably have never watched (or maybe even heard of). :/

  • Kourt

Castle is up in total number of viewers. What will take for the demo to be over a 2.0?

  • Grey

    @ DeanW

“Bad for Hawaii Five-0 Last night was very good and it was great to vote for the killer !”

How is it bad for “H5O?” It won the time slot (at least preliminarily) in both demo and total viewers?

  • JJ

ABC needs to can it with reality on Monday nights. The Bachelor may be cheap to produce but it’s not really delivering much anymore. Stick it on Saturday nights or something if it’s so cheap.

  • Mon

    Last year:
    HIMYM 4.4/11
    2BG 4.6/11
    TAAHM 4.6/11
    MM 3.8/9
    H50 2.8/7
    Castle 2.2/6
