   Are you saying that the US government is a tyranny ? Beside that the people of Egypt didn’t need rifles to topple the regime. My point is that this “tyranny” excuse for owning militarized weapons by righties was expired in 1945. I want to get into the righties mind and understand their ideology, why do you want to own a militarized rifle ??

   Because if your excuse is to defend yourself against domestic tyranny, that tyranny can drop a drone on your head and your rifle won’t do jack to defend you.

   I am curious what he thinks because there are a lot of people who think like him. I do not own a gun so I am in the middle on this one. For those who want to ban guns they need to explain Chicago to me

   The tyranny argument for having assault is ABSURD and only a right wing fringe kook with little or no education would subscribe to it….My question is: Granted these right wing kooks are in the MINORITY, where rocks do they crawl out from under? Did you see the extremist from Texas who thinks Obama is like Saddam? I hope this Texas clown didn’t go to a university in Texas, at least a major u. This is why the GOP is becoming irrelevant and has to resort to suppressing the vote and gerrymandering to get votes, but even that doesn’t work…………… The moderate GOP needs to extirpate the right wingers ASAP……..

    Explain the high murder rate where guns are banned. If a ban fixes the problem why are there so many murders? I am not being snarky, I would like to hear how it would work across the country if it does not work there

    Anyone with intellegence sees the NRA for what it really is. All about profit from the gun lobbyists and nothing else. If they can profit, and gun manufacturers profit, it’s a great world. How sick are these people. There isn’t a more callous group of people out there.

    People tune into Jon Stewart to hear his opinion or take on the News. They tune in to see he call out those who are lying and misinforming the public. Whether you like it or not, Jon Stewart is a giant in the political world.
