   It’s sad to say but Sean Hanutty has the funniest show on TV. And Fox Comedy News is where I go when I want some laughs.

   The right wing kooks can not answer the pertinent questions as to why they want assault type mass murder weapons and so they hide. Note that the moderate GOP members are FOR Obama’s program as are the dems. It’s the kooks, like the far right extremists La Pierre and his white haired boss, who are against common sense solutions because they want to put a fast buck in their pockets!!!!!!!!!! The NRA members should demand these two loonies resign!!!!!!!!!!

   The NRA members should demand the two loonies La Pierre and the white haired guy resign and stop spending NRA members’ money on abetting murders of additional children and adults. This money should be spent to educated people about guns and not to defend an indefensible “tyranny” philosophy which, of course, makes NO sense…. La Pierre and the white haired guy are blowing millions of dollars of NRA members’ contributions on ad agencies creating positioning which is not only absurd but which could contribute to additional people being murdered…..

   You are right, I should have been more clear. To my knowledge there are some guns that are banned, like automatic weapons, but in fact they have very restrictive gun laws but not an overall ban like I said. The murder rate is very high even with these laws.

   In Chicago, gun owners are required to have a Chicago Firearm Permit, which costs $100 and must be renewed every three years.[29] Before getting the permit, the resident must complete a training course that includes at least four hours of classroom training and one hour of range time. Each gun must be registered with the Chicago Police Department at a one-time cost of $15 per gun, and an annual registration report must be filed every year.[30] Gun possession is permitted only inside a dwelling, not in a garage or on the outside grounds of the property. Only one gun at a time may be kept in a usable state.[31][32][33] Chicago’s ordinances are being challenged in court, with plaintiffs alleging that they are so restrictive and burdensome as to interfere with citizens’ Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms.[14][34][35]

    Well, I have to give you credit for at least admitting that Chicago doesn’t ban handguns like 99% of Republicans believe. All it takes is 72 hours to own a gun in Chicago.

    I laugh when I hear Conservatives say that Illinois has the most restrictive gun laws. I love slapping them with facts that blow their mind or links that show them how wrong they are by making that erroneous statement.

    Sorry to disappoint you, but I don’t a gun and don’t intend to get one. I said nothing about tyranny. I simply responded to your moronic post about jet fighters and nuclear weapons being used on the American public. I don’t know what makes you so certain that the troops would support a tyrannical government if one should arise, and don’t ever kid yourself that it can’t happen here at some point. The citizens of the Wiemar Republic didn’t think it would happen there, and complacently sat back while the Third Reich came to power. And before you scream yourself into a migraine, no I don’t think Obama is comparable to Adolf.

    I do not claim to be an expert on this, I am just going by what I have heard and read. Chicago did have a handgun ban at one point, and from what I have searched does have restrictive gun laws, though I did not see a rating comparing to other places. I think there is compromise here but no matter what you cannot completely stop evil or crazy people.

    I am curious what the crime rate was when they had the ban

    I get real tired of having to explain this to Liberals. An AR15 is not a militarized rifle. It’s a hunting rifle dressed up to only look like an M16 without this very important characteristic called, “Fully Automatic”. It’s not that hard to learn this.
