    @RJ

    I’m pretty sure it was 22.85, but I could be wrong.

  • Networkman

    I tried The New Normal once again. It is horribly written. Also the acting was weak. I really don’t know which comedy to support at 9:30pm. I haven’t really picked up on Mindy Project yet. IMO, Don’t Trust the B… is not the same quality as Happy Endings. I really wish Happy Endings was on FOX and aired after New Girl. But NBC can do so much better than The New Normal. I enjoyed 1600 Penn better.

    Well, according to CBS ‘Freedom’ was 22.87.

    If you look at the link on Wikipedia for that episode, that leads to the story on tvbythenumbers.com about that season 8 episode, it says the season 8 epi received 22.85 million viewers. I checked as soon as I saw the new numbers from last night. Last night’s epi broke the record.

    Glad to see Hart of Dixie holding steady even with Pretty Little Liars being back.

    TNN is one of nbc lowest rated shows. Its gonna get canned sooner or later.

    At this point, I think NCIS is the new Law and Order. I’m predicting it will go to 20 seasons or more or slightly less. If its less, Itll probably be because of cast issues.

    Always wonder what NCIS-LA’s ratings would be without the good old NCIS as lead-in.

    Who cares if it was 22.85 or 22.87. With measurement error getting a precise viewer count is impossible. Remember all it takes is 1 person in the Nielsen sample to shift 6.5k viewers. Nielsen is not thta precise.

    NCIS is amazing! Already the #1 show and still breaking its own record after 10 years on television. Congrats!! Season 10 is on fire, and every episode is awesome. The ratings are well-deserved. Just hope the award people will finally give them some recognition soon. The cast and crew both deserve a shelf full of awards by now.

    You really have to give it to NCIS for having a peak in the 10th season.This is where we overlook how old it skews. But a 3.9 is brilliant.

  • Coop

    Every single day CBS should send NBC thank you notes for canceling JAG. :)

  • Ryan

    Sad about New Girl but the quality of the show has gone down hill fast.

    So what. It still had more viewers in the 18-49 bracket than any other show on the night…

    In fact the last two episodes have had a 2.1 in the 18-34 bracket tying NG and beating everything else on Tuesday

  • Samunto

    @eridapo i won’t even be bothered.

    I just wonder, had Harry’s Law been on CBS how far would it have gone? I mean it was doing very good numbers in total viewers. I’m thinking it would have been averaging NCIS:LA numbers now.

  • Allison

    Sadly, The New Normal will probably get renewed for a second season but it does not deserve a renewal. It also did not deserve to win a Peoples Choice Award but hey, those awards are meaningless. If people can vote as many times as they want, then winning a PCA doesn’t mean “people” like your show – it means you have a couple dozen rabid fans with too much time on their hands who voted repeatedly – vote, refresh, vote, refresh, vote, refresh – for days and days on end. Doesn’t matter much, the PCA didn’t seem to help TNN any, did it?

  • Dan

    @SJ – I think Fox’s Raising Hope has the oldest actress Cloris Leachman. ;)

  • JC

    NCIS is such a beast at this age.

  • Bob

    I know overall numbers don’t count, but to see CBS getting over 10 million on all their shows and then the next network getting 5 million for a reality show is incredible. I guess soon it will be under a million with a .08 and that will be a hit for NBC, ABC and Fox. What a shame but heck yeah CBS!!!!!

  • Julia

    What’s killing New Girl right now are the three shows around it. All the shows before it and after get LOW ratings. You can’t have a hit show surrounded by 3 low rated shows in the same block…
