    Keep in mind that fox attracts only a couple million viewers and the real news networks attract over 30 million viewers. But more important, the dems won the election handily in spite of the right wingers suppressing votes and gerrymanndering. Also, most of Fox’s views are very old…..they think Billo’s middle aged women he trots out are sex symbols…

    Hey, I’ll be the first to admit that MSNBC is a success story. They are doing really well. Tremendously. That should be enough of an accomplishment. It’s the “Rocky” story. They went toe-to-toe with the champ and survived all 15 rounds. They may not be the ratings winners, but they certainly ain’t losers. The difference is that you never heard Rocky complain about not winning. He was just happy to go all the way. I’m sure if the movie ended with Rocky complaining that Apollo Creed had better trainers or he was on steroids or the audience in the arena were rigged, we would have left the theater thinking Rocky was a punk.

    A private organization that “helped lay the groundwork” for Obamacare is hosting a symposium to “offer specialized education in health care reporting” for mainstream reporters from outlets including Reuters and Money magazine.

    I was surprised they needed training, since they already just are mouthpieces for the Administration.

    That reminds me of Sam’s statement about the need for investigative journalists. I concur , but, first how about just getting facts right.

    ? Journalists ? printed the heartwarming story of college football star, Manti Te’o's girlfriend’s death without checking a single fact . If just one reporter had tried to contact her family , the story wouldn’t have been printed. Even the town she reportedly lived was made up.

    What a lazy group of people reporters have become . They aren’t even ashamed of their lack of effort.

    Yeah makes perfect sence. The guy that was completely wrong on who would win the election is hired with a multi-year contract. The guy that is so Republican it isn’t funny…makes PERFECT sense for Fox “News” to hire him again.
