   @rat, I hate to tell you this. But that post isn’t a rerun. It was an edited rerun. The first time he posted it He said that CBS reported that the Hostage crisis was over and Fox news was still lying about there being a hostage crisis.

   I posted a picture awhile back that had 2 guns in it. Both were the same caliber & both semi auto. The only difference was looks. One looked like a machine gun, the other an ordinary hunting rifle. I said at the time the gun manufactures weren’t doing themselves any favors (besides increasing sales) making guns look that way. Same deal with muscle cars. Most folks buy them for the horse power & looks.

   Well maybe we should just point a few things out to him. These are just a few current tag lines.

   WILL SWAP AMERICANS FOR ‘BLIND SHEIKH’…
   REPORT: 32 hostages dead, missing in botched rescue…
   At least 1 American dead in bloodbath…
   Algeria launches second rescue effort…
   Hostage holders make new threat…

   I predict estimate between 0 & 10 cable news shows make the weekly top 25. After all over estimating is not wrong according to _______!

   Now in the real world I predict Bill O will make the weekly top 25.

   Kendall – Also, cable news viewership is so low (compared to network news), I wonder why you guys (and gals) fight so much about it. To me, it seems to make more sense to contrast the big 3. Ex: why is the hierarchy NBC > ABC > CBS?

   Projected to be above the average but not as far. If its not as far above then it means its lower. Lower means cooler. Again the point is they adjusted the models & made a new prediction. Only difference this time it’s for cooler temps, usually it’s for higher temps. You can’t get any % lower without cooler temps.

   When the claimed basis for GW projections is all about several tenths of a degree, each bit matters. I can’t claim future cooling based on modeled projections, but its fine to claim future warming based on models. If one has to wait for the actual warming or cooling to occur before it can be counted then why even talk about GW? All the doom & gloom is coming from models predicting the future will be so bad we have to act now.

   P.S. Still waiting on how Doran got 97% if they didn’t whittle down the numbers.

    He will find a way. I hope Boehner sticks with the plan. Go on every TV show he can & lay it out. Then let Reid try to wiggle out of it. If he does in 2014 the R’s will retake the senate.

    Here in Colorado….we don’t need a gun permit…unless you conceal.

    But now that Colorado’s legislature has gone all to democrats…I’m sure that law will be changing soon.

    My husband applied for his conceal permit yesterday. He wants me to get one too…but…I think one of us in the household is enough. We are getting ready to purchase a couple of handguns. If for nothing else…..personal safety.

    You come near my home and try to break in…YOU will meet Mr. Smith and Mr. Wesson.

    Biden’s claim of brush with gun massacre questioned

    Vice President Joseph R. Biden’s claim that he heard the gunshots of a 2006 school massacre while playing golf is raising questions about his veracity or his memory.

    Mr. Biden told a meeting of mayors in Washington Thursday that he was about a quarter-mile away from an Amish schoolhouse on Oct. 2, 2006, when a gunman shot and killed five students and wounded five others.

    “I happened to be literally — probably, it turned out, to be a quarter of a mile [away] at an outing when I heard gunshots in the woods,” Mr. Biden recounted. “We didn’t know … we thought they were hunters.”

    But a search of maps of the area in Lancaster County, Pa., shows the nearest golf course to the site of the shooting, Moccasin Run Golf Club, is about five miles away. Rodney King, the golf pro at Moccasin Run, said Friday he was working at the course on the day of the shooting and never saw Mr. Biden, who was then a U.S. senator.

    “There’s a lot of things here that I find hard to believe,” Mr. King said. “I looked in my database, and he [Mr. Biden] is not in my database.”

    Even if Mr. Biden had played at the course that day, Mr. King said, “It’s very far-fetched that he would have heard it.”

    “I know he didn’t hear those gunshots,” Mr. King said. “They were inside the school. Even if they were outside, he wouldn’t have heard them.”
