ENCORE’S “The Big Miniseries Showcase” PRESENTS The

In honor of Black History Month, ENCORE will present the Emmy® Award–winning and Golden Globe® nominated classic, “North and South,” from Monday, February 4th – Friday, February 8th at 8PM et/pt on ENCORE. The six-part miniseries features an award-winning cast including Kirstie Alley, Patrick Swayze, James Read and Robert Guillaume. Additionally, ENCORE will premiere the NAACP Image Award winning miniseries “Sally Hemings: An American Scandal,” on Sunday, February 3rd at 10AM et/pt, which stars Sam Neill and Carmen Ejogo. Both will air as part of “The Big Miniseries Showcase,” a weekly programming destination of fan favorites and classic titles, premiering on ENCORE.

The miniseries stars Golden Globe® nominee Sam Neill (The Tomb (2013), “Alcatraz,” “The Tudors”) as Jefferson and Carmen Ejogo (Alex Cross, Sparkle (2012)) as Hemings.
