NEW YORK, January 17, 2013 – Young men overwhelmingly decided to #GetWeird last night with the return of COMEDY CENTRAL’s hit series “Workaholics” and were treated to the premiere of the #1 brand in comedy’s newest hit, “Kroll Show,” with the two series finishing as the #1 and #2 ranked shows in cable for Wednesday Prime among Men 18-34 and Men 18-24.  Overall, “Workaholics” drew 2.7 million total viewers across three plays with 1.8 million total viewers tuning-in to the three plays of “Kroll Show.”

“Workaholics” returned last night for the second half of its third season as the #1 show in all of television for Wednesday Prime among Men 18-24 (4.32 rating) and the #1 show in cable among Men 18-34 (3.02 rating).  The premiere play at 10:00 p.m. drew 1.7 million total viewers (1.4 million Adults 18-49 viewers).  The series also ranked as the #1 series in cable last night on both SocialGuide and TrendrrTV which saw #Workaholics, #GetWeird and #JetSet all trend worldwide during the telecast of the new episode.

“Kroll Show” starring Nick Kroll saw its series premiere rank as the #1 show in all of television on Wednesday in its 10:30 p.m. timeslot among Men 18-34 (2.14 rating) and Men 18-24 (2.76 rating).  The premiere play of “Kroll Show” drew 1.2 million total viewers (987,000 Adult 18-49 viewers).  Versus the 2011 series premiere of “Workaholics,” “Kroll” was up across all key demographics, including Adults 18-49 (up +48%), Men 18-34 (+60%), Men 18-24 (+114%) and total viewers (+26%).
