Goood Morning!
Well Lady Luck was winning against Mother Nature in their cage match! We missed out on the first 12 hours of the potential lake effect storm but it looks like LL is getting tired cuz MN is throwing it down right now! I can only hope LL has a second wind! either way we wont get the 6 – 10 and I dont think we will get anywhere close to 6. It is now 11 degrees and is supposed to get colder by 5 this afternoon!
@letMeThink
Glad your weather is good, here we are in a DEEP FREEZE for about 8 days, its even hard to keep my coffee warm LOL
Have a great day Girl…
@Ratboy

Goooooooooooooood Morning Ratdude
I warned ya didn’t I
so the warning was supposed to make me feel better?? Or were you just rubbing it in deeper and deeper and deeper and deeper and deeper?
PS: @ Rats
Now the models are saying a period of snow storms will be heading our way and yours the next few weeks..BUT some of the future models are in conflict about that so hopefully that prediction won’t hold
@Ratboy
Or were you just rubbing it in deeper and deeper
LOL..Nah..I just know about cars shutting down, and a few weeks ago when I checked the long range models I seen that Asia was warming up finally which meant that Northern and Cental America was about to have the AC turned on
And I just wanted to warm people to get the cars prepared, nothing like going out to start the car and BOOM, the battery is dead or the Anti-Freeze was froze LOL…
EDIT (And I just wanted to warm people)
WARN people, but I’d like to make sure everyone was warm though LOL
@ Coffee Steve
Right now it is snowing at a rate of more than an inch an hour hands down! the lake machine has kicked in full throttle! If we would have got this when it was supposed to statt we might be in the 20 inch range!
I cant remember this kind of thing with any other president! but then again the other presidents went to church on a more regular basis as a rule. This really makes my stomach turn!
Not News: Pastor Goes Off on ‘Enemies,’ Leads Chants of ‘Forward’ With Obamas in Attendance
At the Associated Press today, Darlene “Supine” Superville filed a report on Barack and Michelle Obama’s church attendance “at the historic Metropolitan African Methodist Episcopal Church.”
Ms. Superville told readers that “The Old Testament reading during the service came from the book of Exodus, Chapter 14, in which the Israelites cross the Red Sea as Moses leads them out of Egypt.” That’s nice, but she failed to report how church pastor Ronald E. Braxton used that passage in his sermon. Ben Shapiro at Big Government did
At Metropolitan African Methodist Episcopal Church, Braxton reportedly crafted his speech around Obama’s personal political slogan: “Forward!”
Obama, said Braxton, was just like Moses facing the Red Sea: “forward is the only option … The people couldn’t turn around. The only thing that they could do was to go forward.” Obama, said Braxton, would have to overcome all obstacles – like opposition from Republicans, presumably, or the bounds of the Constitution. Braxton continued, “Mr. President, stand on the rock,” citing to Moses standing on Mount Horeb as his people camped outside the land of Israel.
But it wasn’t enough to compare Obama with the founder of Judaism and the prophet of the Bible. Braxton added that Obama’s opponents were like the Biblical enemies of Moses, and that Obama would have to enter the battle because“sometimes enemies insist on doing it the hard way.”
The service ended with the pastor leading the crowd in a chant of “Forward.” Really.
@Ratboy
19 years ago this past Saturday in 1994 we had 20 inches of snow in a 24 hour period (32 inches over 3 days) and we hit 22 below zero, our coldest temp on record, shelbyville about 15 miles from me recorded Minus 37.
The city shut down for a week, and UPS & Ford said if that ever happened again they would close their main hub here and move on. The city bought 40 new snow trucks and a 2 year on supply salt and gave the assurance the roads would never be impassable again.
Now we don’t fear big snowfalls because they actually do a great job keeping them open now.
Well, School is now in session BBL…
Morning !

@Jeff
Wow d.d.!!!
Tried to watch 2016 Obama’s America yesterday…..
You thought this was the best film you had ever seen???
You saw it multiple times? You went with friends/groups
Morning , Jeff. You got one thing right . I did go to see 2016. It was not the best film I have ever seen. I saw it once. My husband & I went by ourselves.
I remember reading the documentary was made for about a million, & made 23 million , the second highest made by a documentary , but, not even close to Fahrenheit 9/11.
With only one million dollars spent by 2016, I think it would classify as a low budget film by today’s standards.
My discussion of 2016 was based on the interesting premise that Obama was an anti-colonialist ,&, I left it open to interpretation.

FYI
Matthew
A landmark Freedom of Information lawsuit by the Electronic Frontier Foundation last year forced federal authorities to reveal there are at least 63 active drone sites around the U.S.
The unmanned planes – some of which may have been designed to kill terror suspects – are being launched from locations in 20 states and flying spy sorties across American soil.
Most of the active drones are deployed from military installations, enforcement agencies and border patrol teams, according to the Federal Aviation Authority

Goooooooood Morning
Yep, and he is included in our studies today, figured its a good time to do that
She was just a little behind her assignments, so today will be a short day as she will be caught up after today. I’m hatrd but I am fair, as long as she keeps up with her work that is LOL
EDIT:
I’m hatrd but I am fair,
Hard but fair, I do need a raise though
Let it be noted that G W Bush had a rating of 62.2!!
Obama Averages 49% Approval in First Term
Approval has been climbing in recent quarters
by Jeffrey M. Jones
PRINCETON, NJ — President Barack Obama averaged 49.1% job approval during his first term in office, among the lowest for post-World War II presidents. Only Jimmy Carter and Gerald Ford had lower job approval averages. Obama’s first-term average is most similar to Bill Clinton’s. Lyndon Johnson, John Kennedy, and Dwight Eisenhower were the most popular first-term presidents.
Obama’s first-term approval average, like those of most presidents with lower first-term averages, was likely dragged down by a sluggish economy. Clinton and Reagan saw higher second-term approval as the economy improved. Obama’s approval rating has also shown improvement, with a 48.1% average in his fourth year in office after a 44.4% average in his third year.

Thanks. Doable. Fortunately I have a Moulinex grater that I never put together. Before going to the site, I was afraid that it would involve shooting a horse… And it is kind of funny that a coupon for free detergent is at the bottom of that page.
