@ he has a few orders suggesting to try push for the officers outside the school and training for it.
Yea the King wants 1000 peole for hundreds of thousands of schools throughout the USA!! How is that gonna work???? Dog and Pony Show, That is all he knows!!!
It should be pointed out for the congressional district thing. I get why Republicans would want to rig the system in Pennsylvania and Michigan since the Republicans will never win their in the foreseeable future at a presidential level so you have nothing to lose, but in a state like Ohio you basically make your state irrelevant by doing this(and all the money that flows into the state every 4 years) other then a couple swing districts, that I question anybody best interests for the State if they do it.
Colbert was hilarious last night :

If the righties want to keep military weapons in their households so they can fight the “tyranny’ AKA the government, then why are they supporting government defense spending that only empowers “the beast” ?
Doesn’t make sense if they would cut the defense spending on the “evil tyranny” and solve our budget crisis ?
@Sam
lol I never thought of it that way(ie why do you want to feed the evil government with weapons) although I am one who fully sees the hypocrisy of Republicans who claim they want to cut federal spending yet want to increase defense and military spending(as I always say it’s fair enough if you want to debate that our defense budget isn’t large enough, but don’t in the next breath tell me we need to reduce the countries budget or how you are a fiscal conservative)
@marty, I think you are talking about what it would take to get rid of the electoral college and go with the popular vote. It’s up to each state to decide how they want to cast their votes. Meaning a state can cast all votes or they can split the votes by districts. I believe it’s up to the each state.
I like the idea of splitting votes per districts. It’s political garbage when either Reps or dems fight this. (The dems were for this when Bush win.) Splitting elect college votes on districts lines would help the 3rd parties. Third parties don’t have the numbers to take a state but they do have the numbers to win districts.
Using the all or nothing method candidates only need to focus on large population areas and not all of the state.
Every party Gerrymandered districts. In states that where controlled by democrats in 2011 have Democrats-gerrymandered districts. So, stop being played the fool by reporters. If republican run states do this it doesn’t mean it will help a republican win in 2016. It will make every area in those important to the candidates.
The fact that liberals are scared of something that gives every vote more power should tell us all, they don’t care about every vote.
I have always been for splitting the elec votes. If democratic states did it I be fine with it. If Texas did it I’d be fine. As soon as one state does it others will follow.
they do that in nebraska and maine. who ever wins the congressional district gets the electoral vote. the winner of the state gets the 2 for the senate!
Mark and Sam, whose side do you think the military is going to be on if the gov’t(Obama) decides to take the guns?? Most military are conservative which is why the dems do all they can to make sure their votes don’t count. I see the military much differently from the rest of the gov’t. The military is the only part of gov’t that works and is the most efficient(there is waste there too but not to the extent of other gov’t programs). Also the military is the most important function of gov’t so you can be for a strong military and less government without being a hypocrite. Come for the guns and see if you don’t have a whole bunch of veterans and currently serving military you will have to go thru as well as most of the civilian population.
Fox “News” is distorting the facts again on gun control. They refuse to print the results of national polls because no poll favor Fox’s right wing position. Obama’s gun control policies are preferrred by most Americans….
Fox–the master of obfuscation…..
DB–watch out–the government is coming for your guns—just a joke. Can you imagine the skin heads and anti-government types who think they are going to battle the government??? What lunatics!!!!!!!!
my congressman will never let gun control go through the house! i live in the 8th district of ohio!
@Mark, at a presidential level so you have nothing to lose, but in a state like Ohio you basically make your state irrelevant by doing this(and all the money that flows into the state every 4 years)
Are you saying that candidates buy votes by giving money to states through the federal government?
THe right wing GOP is planning to beef up their voter suppression efforts in order to prevent people from voting–they think that’s the only way they have a chance of winning an election. Remember the long lines and right wing govs who let them happen??????
And the gerry mandering will continue because the right wingers can’t win without illegal manipulation of districts……
Did you see the right wing kook t-bag woman on Piers Morgan this week talking about the need to overthrow the government and her need for an M-16 or such…It had the audience laughing–where do you find such idiots?? Right wingers, come back to me……
Cathy–do you support voter suppression as conducted by the GOP last election????
usa8888, CBS News says Obama asks to be impeached. Says ” I deserve it, I hate the Constitution”.
On another note I am so glad the hostage situation in Algeria is over.
Breaking news from CBS( home of Dan Rather)— Repubs will take Senate and House in 2014. Also NRA more popular than Obama–oh wait that can’t be coming from CBS news because that is true.
usa8888, you realize I am sure the question you asked Cathy can’t be answered because it is based on a false premise. I know you know what a false premise is because all of your posts are based on false premises and lies.
USA888 do you support trolls on this website???
Out of curiosity, is this linked to any real statistic or study of waste-per-program, or just a personal opinion? And when you say that, are you including all D.O.D. spending?
DB,
“Mark and Sam, whose side do you think the military is going to be on if the gov’t(Obama) decides to take the guns?? Most military are conservative which is why the dems do all they can to make sure their votes don’t count.”
Holy s*** !! I had no idea “OBAMA” is stronger than the military ! So how is the “tyranny” will function and take away your guns without a military ?
You guys are crazy … the more I hear those crazy confederates talking about seceding from the union and get ready to fight the “tyranny” that want to take your guns away, I’m thinking you guys didn’t learn anything from the civil war.
