@DB, how are you doing tonight? Thanks for answering Sam and Mark. The most important thing our federal government is to be is provide a military. I don’t understand how everyone in this country has to take a government class and the liberal always miss that peace of information. The military serve the constitution, they don’t serve the politicians of our country. Officers do not blindly follow orders.
Thats my point– guns won’t be taken away– more likely the pres will be impeached. The president’s power relies in many instances on the military to back up his orders–this one won’t work.
You libs are so weird–how did the civil war get into this??
Matthew, just my opinion based on the results of most undertakings handled by the military.
Cathy you are correct. Pres is Commander in Chief but if he violates his oath to uphold the Constitution then all bets are off.
Sam, Crazy Confederates? Who are you talking about? What do you think we should have learned from the civil war? Are you talking about our civil war or the civil wars in other countries?
as a conservative i enjoy see both sides of the gun control debate, because it will not happen. for those who didnt figure it out i live in speaker boehners district. ive known john since he first ran for office to the state assembly in the old west chester district here in butler county and i worked on his campaign. hes was as much against gun control then as he is now. that has not changed!
DB–are they coming for your guns? How could anyone with a brain believe the t-bag line, except skin heads and anti-government kooks??? Come back to me , DB
Cathy–we are talking about the idiot Southerners who caused the civil war!!!! There are still some of these loons around now, if you can believe that!!!!!!!! And they make up a good portion of the right wing GOP–it’s scary and pathetic!!!!!!!
DB–they are coming to take your guns—call Mr. Slime Rush Limbaugh or Hannity—OOOOOOwhoOOOOOOO!!!!
Cathy–if officers don’t blindly follow orders, why does Boehner blindly follow the t-bags in the House???? Come back to me…………..
NBC Poll: Public Blames Parents, Hollywood Over Guns for Violence
Americans place more blame for mass shootings on parents and Hollywood than they do on guns, a surprising new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll reveals.
Asked how much responsibility several choices might bear for the shootings that have taken place in Tucson, Ariz.; Aurora, Colo.; and Newtown, Conn., guns came in fifth.
The top choice was “parents not paying enough attention to what is going on in their children’s lives” — 83 percent said that was “a great deal” or a “good amount” responsible. Only 4 percent said “none at all.”
However, support for stricter controls is significantly less today than it was during the 1990s, when more than 60 percent supported stricter laws, topping out at 78 percent in 1990.
Another interesting finding of the NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll: Asked how they view the National Rifle Association, 24 percent said “very positive” and 17 percent said “somewhat positive,” while 20 percent were “neutral.” That’s up from 21 percent “very positive” in January 2011, and significantly higher than in June 1995, when just 12 percent said “very positive.”
Also, those who view the NRA as “very negative” is at 23 percent, down from 30 percent in July 1995.
HEY LIBBIES…THIS WAS A POLL TAKEN BY YOUR PRAVDA…NBC
Can’t we all just get along?
Gentlemen and gentleladies; yes guns and President BO are very important subjects. There is one topic which is more pressing for this weekend. Please back the San Francisco 49ers over Atlanta. Monday we can get back to Hannity and MSNBC.
@ Cathy,

Hey Chris–this poll and all others say that Americans agree with Obama’s gun policy and disagree with that of the NRA. there are many things that should be done, the first of whcih is banning all assault type weapons, large magazines. Fox “News” is obfuscating as usual because they can’t find a poll (even Frank Luntz) that agrees with their warped opinion (that of Pierre and the white haired buy). Chris–it’s not the NRA –it’s their leadership and policy that needs to be replaced, according to polls….read them carefully, Chris….
@ Marty,
Who cares about Bohner ? He and his party will be unemployed for long time because the keep ignoring the majority of the American people. The majority of the nation support stricter gun laws .
mr. usa8888 you dont know what your talking about. john has been against gun control long before he held office!
Hey, DB–have you got your food storage ready in your basement in preparation for your fight against the US government???
Marty–when is John going to stop kissing the bags’ patooti’s??? John is a good guy surronded by morons….unfortunately….
really because in an obama year, john kept the speakership! john wont be beat in this district! we even have a statue of george w, bush in front of the high school! like it or not he is the speaker of house!
DB is just a crazy demented old man that thinks OBAMA is coming after his guns.
