Due to the nature of live programming the ratings for CBS (NFL Football and Hawaii Five-0) are approximate and subject to more than the typical adjustments in the final numbers. See below for more information on these Fast Affiliate Ratings.
On CBS, NFL Football: Ravens at Patriots scored a preliminary 14.6 adults 18-49 rating from 7-10PM. Update: A special episode of Hawaii Five-0 earned a Time-Zone Adjusted Fast National 3.4 adults 18-49 rating. This number is unlikely to change significantly in the finals. Check the finals, which probably will not be available until Wednesday this week due to the MLK holiday, for accurate football numbers.
On ABC, America's Funniest Home Videos garnered a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating down 7% from last week's 1.4. Once Upon A Time earned a season low 2.4, down 14% from last week's 2.8 adults 18-49 rating. Your predictions were too optimistic. Revenge scored a season low 1.7 among adults 18-49 down 15% from last week’s 2.0.

Definitions:
Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.
Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.
Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)
Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

Wonder how Downton Abbey fared as it was another awesome ep as usual (and of course, commercial free).
Surprised game was over when I switched back.
CONGRATS Bill & Robert on the SF Win! Hope they win the Superbowl (on CBS)!
@ tobes
yeah thats the thing though episode 13 is suppose to set episode 14 up and the big reveal so as most people will be watching the Grammys, hype for episode 14 will be lost and wont elevate the ratings.
@Ultima
sorry for my negativity just a little bit ticked of at Mike Kelly and ABC, this was a great show with so much potential and its getting kicked to the curb IMO. Thank god for Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Mad Men, Spartacus, Homeland and the rest of the shows I watch being off broadcast. That way I do not have to worry.
All well whatever happens I have really enjoyed Revenge(especially season 1) and the actors on there do a great job week after week.
“I was hoping for better performance, but well if I can’t have what I like, I like what I have.”
Nonsense. This is TVBTN, where the rule is “even if I have what I like, I hope you lose what you like because you’re an idiot for not liking my shows.”
@CBS produces H50. Person of Interest (and 2 Broke Girls) are Warner Brothers productions. CBS has a lot more vested in the performance of their own productions than other studios’ shows. The post super bowl show, Elementary, is also a CBS production.
@Although it would have made some sense as well to give a drama like POI one of those football lead-ins, why should CBS care too much about POI? CBS doesn’t own POI, there’s no syndication money to be made now or in the future. TM, the other WB-owned drama on the schedule, is in trouble for that very reason and has to compete with lower-rated CBS-owned shows like TGW or CSI: NY for a spot on next year’s schedule. Not to mention that it has already been moved to CBS’s worst timeslot despite drawing pretty good ratings last year.POI fans shouldn’t expect CBS to provide their favorite show with too much help–and it makes sense from a business perspective to consider H5O the more valuable show of the two.
I am sorry guys but this is so dump thinking. Networks must pick what is their BEST option/best show not what they own.(lie NBC and the voice last season) By the way WB give CBS last 7-8 years a lto hit dramas and sitcoms – TBBT, TM now POI 2BG. Also TAHM is own from WB too. POI will get best boost from football. But if they want sitcom than 2 BG. They both can grow a lot more. And will give better ratings for CBS next 3-4 years in major slots and days 2BG on Monday against the voice POI on thursday against GA. h5o will go on friday if not this season after next. And is already sold what was the point. And Elementary move looks even worse. If both shows collapse to mid-low 2s after 2-3 episodes in demo will be nigthmare and such a shame for CBS. Than they will deserve to lose #1 spot next year. I think fox will has both afc and super bowl next year.
Why CBS didn’t air NCIS on Sunday ? They are afraid to get a new Series High ?
I know Hawaii Five-0 needed it but NCIS is more profitable.
@frodo

There’s virtually no chance that Revenge is getting canceled this season.
I find it hysterical that the big complaint last season was that ABC kept preempting Revenge, and this season is that they don’t preempt it enough!
No, max didnt have an orgasm, he only has them when his mom visits him in the basement for his daily ‘draining’.
Scandal which averages like a 2.4 demo will be renewed, so Revenge is more than likely LOL. Stop worrying.
“CONGRATS Bill & Robert on the SF Win!”
Robert may live in the metropolitan area that includes San Francisco, but he’s a long time Redskins fan.
I was a lukewarm Redskins fan in my waning years in the DC area, and a son in San Francisco easily compelled a switch to the 49ers.
Go ‘Niners.
@Ultima
CBS has been treating TM like dirt at least scheduling wise.
“h5o will go on friday if not this season after next. And is already sold what was the point.”
If they can get an influx of viewers, that opens up the possibility of more seasons down the line. More seasons = more syndication revenue.
this is all ABC fault everyone knew that going against NFL on a conference final was a very stupid move
no worries
let’s se after the superbowl !
@kyle7
It’s not the rule I follow and I never call anybody an idiot for not liking my shows.
I am still watching REVNEGE but the show has really lost its way, i cant really put my finger on it, but sometimes i am not even sure what is happening and who exactly certain people are. I am sure the game had an effect but i think its losing viewers on its on bc people are losing interest (like me, but i still sticking with it). ABC and the producers and writers need a serious retool! asap! I think a 3rd season is still gauranteed but i am betting on a new time slot and some serious retools! I would love to see……
THURSDAYS
7pm Greys
8pm Scandal
9pm Revenge
then my 3 favorites all at once! that combo would be a power house!
@Sarah

It’s on the schedule and will be on the schedule next year. Pretty sure that’s a win in TV land!
I think with Peter we have another ‘Max’ who posts the same irrelevant shenanigans but this time about POI and 2BG. Dude posts the same crap here and on deadline.com. Just copy and paste.
I’ll never understand why ABC aired new stuff against the game last night.
@gavin, lmao
Meanwhile his beloved ‘scandal’ keep dropping from its season high of 2.8 and averages like a 2.4 demo. So its funny when fans of that show think their show is the highest ever.
@ Bill
I’m a ‘Niners fan myself & have been since the mid 70′s. Here’s hoping for a SB win!
“It’s on the schedule and will be on the schedule next year. Pretty sure that’s a win in TV land!”
Not for the easily aggrieved crazy fan it isn’t.
Continuing renewal is not enough, there must be respect!
