    Fringe!!!!!!!!!!!!

    @Mr Mumble
There were two distinct episodes of Fringe on Friday. Why have Nielsen bundled them together?

    Because FOX told them to.

They could either designate it as a two-hour finale or a regular episode and a special episode.

Nice little bow for Fringe. I’m happy.

  • forg

    ABC sitcoms in limbo :(

  • swell

Yeah, Fringe fans should have nothing but nice things to say about Fox. This season was a pleasant bow on a solid, improbable run. And tvbythenumbers will now have to move on to Revolution or something to drive traffic :)

  • networkman

Did the network’s loyalty to viewers of Fringe pay off with the successful debut of The Following?

  • Shepherd

oooh.. I was right about Fringe’s rating after all. lol

  • Nerdbot

Fringe was adjusted up and Nikita wasn’t adjusted down. Both shows are terribly rated but I’m OK with these final numbers (It could always be worse).

  • Nick

Really good for Betty! especially since its a rerun episode

    @Sara,
    FOX Fringe (8-10PM) – Series Finale 1.1/4 3.28
I think your numbers calculate only 8PM episode.
    Fringe’s 8 PM viewers 3.28 million, and 9PM viewers 3.08 million.

    @ Nerdbot

I agree but i hope Nikita will rise in the coming week. Fringe was on its final Season and its numbers were not very important but Nikita needs better ratings to get a syndication deal.

Yup, you Fringe fans showed up. A whopping 1.1 for a series finale. LOL.

  • davie

Great to see Fringe match its final season high in the finale. Will miss this wonderful show audios fringe, and saturday morning postings. #wecrossedtheline, ya’ll

Nikita’s highest ratings this season…which is pretty depressing in a general sense, but I think it could actually pick up some momentum and maybe even crack a 0.5, which would be good for Friday nights on the CW…considering their other shows get close to that on Mondays/Tuesdays.

I don’t know why CBS would want to cancel CSI NY.. I mean, I do see where CBS would say it isn’t renewal worthy, but in that aspect I totally disagree!

I’m not a fan of any of the CSI shows, however CSI NY on a Friday in its 9th season is doing good compared to all the younger shows that are averaging way less. I love how Blue Bloods gets a most likely for renewal b/c it will meet the # of episodes that the show would qualify for syndication, but CSI NY is a veteran show that performs same or slightly better in demo, yet all I hear is they are going to cancel it.. I would think CBS would be impressed that CSI NY a show 6 years older is pulling same numbers as a young show that should still be gaining audience.

In my opinion I think CSI NY should be renewed. I’m surprised CBS only gave the series an 18 episode season since I hear the show is at 198 eps after the finale, you think the show would atleast make it to 200! CBS would be stupid not to renew the series. Don’t fix what is not broken you are winning friday nights leave it be!!!

I loved Fringe. It entertaned me for the past 5 years. I will truly miss it.
I just don’t understand why there are people that just love to say bad things about the show. If you dont like it just dont watch it. hy do you have to make fun of the people that enjoyed the show.
I was so glad that the finale was as good as it was .
After being soo disappointed with the series finale of Lost I did not know what to expect for Fringe.
But it ended up being a wonderful episode.
I thank FOX so uch for allowing this last season. I am sure they lost money doing it, but I am sure after all of the worldwide sale of the show they will still make a profit on it.
I have heard that it is a very popular show outside of the USA.
I deinatly loved seasons 1-4. Season 5 definatly had a completely differnt feel to it. It took several episodes before I began to enjoy it, and by the end I am glad I stuck wih it.

Now what am I going to watch on Friday nights ?

if nikita was on a different netwok its ratings would be much much higher it have also ben a hit if it was on cbs

  • Gomer

Dead cat bounce for Fringe. So glad this is finally gone so it frees up a spot for something else. Fox is going to need to revamp its entire lineup to stay above the likes of NBC.
