This week, the finale of Fringe was the top broadcast show on GetGlue, and American Horror Story: Asylum was the top broadcast show for the week of January 7-13th.  Remember: a show's social media popularity does not correlate to its renewal prospects and/or actual ratings.

At Least Fringe is #1 In Something Such a great Show!
    That will definately!! be missed

  • The End

To be fair. Getglue only shows which show has the most tech savvy fanbase, not which show has the biggest fanbase.

Most 40-60 year old viewers are hardly going to be sat at there PC/Laptop screens wanting their next sticker, they’l be sat infront of the screen watching said show in a no nonsense fashion :)

The fact that most Science fiction shows which do typically skew more male do so well says it all. The kind of people who will be on the computer more, as shown by the success of Eureka, Warehouse 13, Falling Skies and other such Science fiction programming in the cable area, and Fringe in the broadcast one.

Well some people like me are just glad it shows somewhere in the world a show is loved. Yes I’m a 22 year old tech savvy gal who LOVES (not using past tense) Fringe, it makes me glad we’re #1 somewhere. Because the rest of America certainly didn’t do it any favors, though I’m so very thankful we got 5 seasons and a wonderful and properly planned ending.

Well, better a beloved but little-watched cult show than a show that panders to the unintelligent masses. Do I need to say NCIS?
    Go Fringe.

Fringe has almost a hundred thousand more than the number two. How notable.
