Fox News Delivers Strong Ratings Growth

FNC delivered strong ratings growth during the week of January 14-20, 2013, ranking fourth in Total Viewers, (1.749 million) during primetime and seventh in total day (1.068 million)  among all ad supported cable networks.

During primetime, FNC beat ESPN and TNT. Its also outperformed the other cable news networks with its pre-inagural coverage. By comparison, MSNBC ranked 28th and CNN ranked 33rd.

    Putting this into perspective, 1.749 million viewers is NOTHING compared to the total viewers of the major news networks–ABC, NBC, and CBS, who bring in 15 times as many viewers…..
    The Fox news phenomenon is similar to that of Rush Limbaugh and Glen Beck….

    Have you noticed, when Richard and Larry beat Hannity and Greta in the demos, usa8888 cares NOTHING about NBC ABC CBS and it’s ratings, he just gloats….

    Fans of that network owned 49% by an international conglomerate that pays no U.S. taxes (hint: its initials are G.E.) are awful silent about Fox News not only winning the cable news wars but being a player among cable’s elite. You want demo, buy MTV or ESPN time. You want to sell HurryCanes and the like go to Fox. I don’t watch Fox. I just cannot stand the people who watch MSNBC

    Where are all the politico and huffing post stories about Fox news gains? In December they couldn’t print enough stories about how Maddow’s ratings where Fox news worst nightmare come true.

    I guess like all nightmares it ended.
