Please note–without DWTS, Castle falls well behind H50 in viewers.

And Deception isn’t going to be around to make it look good much longer. :D

  • Ruan

    “Deception” is dead. That’s true.

I was wondering: “Hawaii Five-O” seems to be gaining strength, so how will that affect “Revolution” when it returns?

  • Castle Lover

Sorry Faith but you stooped to your own low level by calling out people first never mentioned anyones name until you did.If you can’t stand the heat maybe you should get out of the kitchen.

  • bluejays

    Good for HFo :)

Finally watched all of The Following. Pretty good but not as good as 24 and I might quickly get sick of the gruesome that just seemed to be there for shock value some of the time. (And I love the Walking Dead so can do gruesome).

  • John

    HF0 Great show!!!

  • Faith

@Castle Lover, sorry you feel that way. I can stand the heat but you can’t seriously expect to run down someone’s favorite show and not get a respond. Sounds like you thought no one would respond, but looks like I am not the only one :)

  • Castle Lover

I was stating my opinion never used anyone’s name until people like you saw a different opinion and got hostile.Hope this site is for people with all different opinions and don’t want to here just your trash.I’ll always state my opinion rather you like it or not.

  • Ben

@Castle Love, you stated; “The original Hawaii Five-0 was better than the original. That’s a Fact and my opinion”. It is Not a fact that the original Hawaii Five-0 was better than the remake. Jack Lord treated the rest of the cast like peons, never referring to them as co-stars, only as ‘Withs'; as in Hawaii Five-0 Starring Jack Lord With James MacArthur. The last year of the original series (1979 – 1980) had Jack Lord with a brand new supporting cast, because everyone else got tired of being treated like nothing and they left him alone. The last year of the original series was terrible and an perfect example of a TV series that was on TV a year too long. Jack Lord’s ego kept him off Star Trek, and was one of the reasons he only played Felix Leiter in Dr. No.
The new series is better than the original. It’s much more of an group effort instead of one swell headed star treating the rest of the people like temporary help who can be replaced at anytime.
I have nothing against Castle, but, it is Your opinion that the original Hawaii Five-0 was better than the original.

  • Ben

Also Castle Lover; your conspiracy theory that Hawaii Five-O was adjusted up in the ratings was; “Because the show is in good with Neilsen” is absolute nonsense. Let’s just say your hatred for the program is obvious and you will write anything to complain about it, no matter how absurd it is.

  • Castle Lover

Just like I said you people can’t stand a different opinion and the original show was better whether they were fighting or not,Sorry!you can’t stand the truth!!

  • Leah

Just like always, some people only like to listen to their own voices and create hot air. I don’t think any #H50 fan has been hateful to Castle. Why is it that when certain people state their opinion it it called “the truth” but if someone disagrees its You can’t take the heat get out of the kitchen or you can’t stand the truth. You think the original show was better that is your opinion not the truth. I guess only those that agree with you are right and all the rest are wrong. I don’t remember very much about the original H50 it was a good show, IN MY OPINION the reboot #H50 is also a good show.

  • Holly

I don’t think any #H50 fan has been hateful to Castle.

    You must be new here…

  • Leah

@Holly, I am new here . I haven’t read anything hateful on this post from #H50 fans. I just wish we could all get along, there is room for both shows or at least I think so.

I happen to be a fan of both ‘Hawaii 5-O’ and ‘Castle’. I have enjoyed ‘Hawaii 5-0′ both in it’s original broadcast back in the late 60’s with Jack Lord and it’s newer version currently on CBS today. Only recently I happen to catch a ‘Castle’ episode one day when CBS was airing a repeat episode of ‘Hawaii 5-0′. Low and behold I began to really get absorbed in the characters and story lines of ‘Castle’. Nothing against ‘Hawaii 5-0′ at all, I just prefer ‘Castle’ over ‘Hawaii 5-0′ but both are fantastic programs.

First, there was Castle. I enjoyed it. Loved Nathan Fillion.
Then, there was H50. Fell in love with it over the course of Season 1. Just so you know up front, I am a fan of the H50 ensemble and the premise of the series.
I have noticed something in the ratings for the past 3 seasons for H50 and Castle. They seem to flip flop each season. First half of the season, with a strong lead in from DWTS, Castle wins the viewers, and often the demos, but not by a landslide (although this year it WAS somewhat of a landslide! Not sure what happened there, but I think it had something to do with disatisfaction with H50’s S2. Thankfully, Season 3 has gotten H50’s mojo back. If you stopped watching because you hated S2, tune back in for an episode or two to see if you like it again!) Second half of the season, H50 pulls ahead and tends to stay there through the season finales. Again, it’s not a win by body lengths, but more of a down to the wire win. BOTH shows have dedicated viewers, so obviously both shows have viewer appeal! It’s just that neither of them is a break away mega winner. Revolution appears to be the firt series that has threatened both Castle and H50. It will definitely be interesting to see what happens with the ratings and especially the demos when it returns.
If there was no H50, I would be watching Castle, I guess (watched Revolution once and didn’t like it). But right now, I’m tuned to H50.

  • ateofi

agreed. Maybe earlie there was a “war” between H50 and Catle fans, but now I don’t see it. What I do notice is POI vs H50 or Bones vs Castle fan wars.
