No adjustments for ABC shows :(

  • Faith

Great news for #H50, so happy to see :)

  • iMember

That was an AWESOME episode of Revenge, and it really gave us big answers and tied things together going forward into the remainder of the season. Episode deserved to be higher, so hopefully it go back up when it returns. I believe it will.

  • aciel

sigh no adjustments for revenge or ouat but on the bright side those numbers wont be taken into the cancellation/renew index of the shows due to the exception of football. ouat and revenge should be returning to their regular ratings.

  • DenverDean

@aciel What makes you think they won’t be taken into account for Index? Those are regularly scheduled episodes against regularly scheduled programming. (The NFL has one of the two championship games on every year in prime time.) With that logic, CBS shows opposite the Academy Awards shouldn’t count.

  • DeanW

The Simpsons is the Best Show ever. A 1.8 for a repeat :) CBS would kill to have this number for a new episode on Friday !

  • panda22

Nothing for OUAT?…the tv gods are sooo cruel! :(

  • Anthony

The Simpsons is the Best Show ever. A 1.8 for a repeat CBS would kill to have this number for a new episode on Friday !

What does that have to do with The Simpsons getting a 1.8 for a repeat on a Sunday? They are two different days, and the Simpsons would not repeat at a 1.8 if it aired on Friday (they did once earlier in the season, and it scored substantially lower).

ABC will bounce back soon, this was a fall back because of insanely high NFL Playoffs.
I’m actually surprised that H5O didn’t scored a 4 considering how highly rated the Playoff was

  • Grey

    @ Faith

    It had no competetion.

  • Ateofi

Glad to see even slight upwards adjustment for H50 :) As for Revenge and OUAT, they will bounce back next sunday.

  • DeanW

    @ Anthony

Look at The Mentalist. It get around 0.9-1.0 for a repeat, right ? And if a Mentalist repeat faces NFL it would be around 0.5.
I just said The Simpsons repeat did VERY well for a 24-year old Show. And CBS only get this numbers with originals.

    @ Anthony

I’m strongly guessing that DeanW was being sarcastic :)

  • aciel

because on the other page bill said that fans shouldnt care what the ratings on exception nights like sunday meaning that it wont be included in the index

  • Mi

Unfortunately, Once and Revenge go back vs. the Grammys when they return thanks to dumb ABC, so I don’t expect them to be up when they return. Only maybe hopefully a week later.

  • Alan

I hope Revenge comes back stronger after the Grammys of course, ABC just keeps making stupid decisions.

  • aciel

im pretty sure that revenge is going to go back to its normal ratings when it returns because its having a pretty big episode and plus the promos look intriguing so that should bring viewers in. also ouat will bounce back up because they left us of with a cliffhanger. i could see why revenge was facing a downward trend i’m not too fond of this season to be honest. also the actors themseleves werent too fond of this season either. but gabriel mann and madeliene stowe stated that the last 6 episodes of revenge are really good. plus the next episode looks promising.

  • aciel

i think for the safety of the shows abc shouldn’ve waited till february 17 to air new episodes of revenge and ouat

  • DeanW

    @ Zachary 19

    Of Course !

  • David Howell

Those numbers for animation reruns against football can’t hurt the syndication deals for the shows.

OUAT clearly not immune to football. No excuse for running two serialized shows in originals against such a big game. If ever there was a time to take a hiatus, this was it!
