Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

Watched 20 min of The Taste last night and turned it off. Expect those numbers to tank next week, any postive comments abt it are few and far between.

Ouch for Go On – if it doesn’t recover and stabilise in the next few weeks, I’ll be worrying. It’s one of only 2 sitcoms I actually like and watch!

  • Ram510

Wow who would’ve thought back in September that The Taste would beat DWTS? It wasn’t the worst reality show but I hope it doesn’t last cause I don’t want ABC to think more reality crap is the answer cause its not.

Wow what happened to NBC on Tuesday, its making Fox’s line up look competent

  • David Howell

The only problem is you can launch a(nother) new show out of The Voice next season and have it do better (as Revolution has).

Hard to renew TNN in particular in that context. And Fox isn’t quite desperate enough to pick up an NBC reject. Yet…

  • Dan S

Suddenly both Go On & TNN look like they’re in trouble. I don’t watch either show but was very surprised to see them fall so hard against relatively easy competition. I’d move them to bubble status if they’re not there already. NBC can’t get shows like The Voice, Grimm & Revolution back fast enough. On Fox B&K is done but TMP is still showing signs of life.

  • CBSviewer

No Renew / Cancel index yet ?

  • Mrs. Angela Lansbury

The text in the article for Off Their Rockers is wrong. The 8:30 episode indeed matched the 1.8 from last week!

Oh my dear Betty, 91 years old and still bringing in the young whippersnappers. Cheers!

  • Billy

    Nice start for Taste.

Go On is becoming a bomb without The Voice lead in. NBC is holding the Voice out too long. It should return in February instead of March. They need it.

  • Shepherd

BTW, I was only commenting that the Taste had pretty decent numbers, I didn’t actually watch the show.

  • Holly

Nice numbers for The Taste and Hart of Dixie. Even with the drop, Parenthood did fine for its finale (as did PP).

The NBC comedies, on the other hand, are falling hard without The Voice to support them.

  • Chuck T

Is the second ep of ‘Off Their Rockers’ a 1.3 or a 1.8, if it’s a 1.8 then there is no change from last week in that time slot.

  • ash

Go on is much better than Mr sunshine and I thought matthew perry got another hit finally.. :(

  • ReallyTired

Can they please cancel ‘Mindy’ already?

  • Cyrax86

Matthew Perry should go back to The Good Wife as long as it’s still on the air!

  • Samunto

    @ Sara Bibel
Could you please correct your text. Betty White had a 1.8 at 8:30pm!!!

  • Cj morton

The new flop is doing exactly what I thought it’d do at the beginning of the season..

  • Devin

I can’t stand Go On or TNN. I much prefer Happy Endings, New Girl, and Mindy.

  • ToXiX

I guess The Voice really did help Go On.

    Those numbers are awful.

  • BigBrotherFan

I am. It kills me to see quality scripted shows like “Happy Endings”, “Dont Trust The B-“, “666 Park Ave” get treated like crap and shows like agh “THE TASTE” get tons of promotion and are the reason why network TV is hitting lows like this.

  • r0ckmypants

@Oliver – You should probably wait and see how Community does this season before deciding it’s a better ratings performer than The New Normal and/or Go On; it ended its season at a 1.3 last May.

  • Ram510

Too bad Body of Proof couldn’t have the premiere of The Taste as its lead. I don’t know how BoP will do with Happy Endings and very little promotion
