Let’s all take solace that the right wing fringe on this site is able to make all the non-sensical comments they wish (e.g., d.d.’s comments above, which I am sure the rat believes, too). But always remember that these fringe elements are decreasing in number and are unable to win elections. Unfortunately, the fringe right is now resorting to voter suppression and gerrymandering to win elections. But the courts are on to this scheme and wil stop it….

So here are a couple off issues that I cant get straight in my mind. First, the mayor telling businesses in his city NOT to do the kind of business they make a living at when the city will have a chance to cash in on a special event. And second, dont serve “hard” alcohol???? NEWS FLASH!!!! You can get just as drunk from beer and wine as you can from “hard” booze! An you can take that from an EXPERT, ME!!! (I would guess this mayor thinks you wont be as dead from a 22 and you would from a 44 mag also)

San Francisco Officials Prepare For Super Bowl, Hope To Avoid Violence

Lee said city officials plan to talk to small businesses in the Mission District and elsewhere that were most affected by the World Series violence starting next week. He also said bars need to be aware of how much alcohol they’re serving.

Mayor Lee went as far as suggesting bars serve something other than hard alcohol during the game.

“I suggest that they serve something (other) than heavy alcohol during the times of celebration cause that inebriation sometimes doesn’t help with people who might go beyond the bounds of acceptability in their celebration,” Lee told reporters Thursday.

quick story, Zager & Evens released 2525 years ago, what people don’t know is one of them, I can’t remember had a vision of the future and the song was about that

We need to ban the Super Bowl if it causes crime.

  • usa8888

Rat–don’t worry about the drone strikes–Obama has increased them 10 fold since Bush left and will continue to use them. The are very effective in killing our enemies, with minimal loss of life to our soldiers. This bit of false news was probably started by some right wing rag……and spread by FOX.
