   Apple, the Northeast is full of haunted places, but you want more weriod per square mile? Connectutcut. There is something about CT that has more hauntings, possessions and just all around strainge stuff. Dudleytown, the Devils Hopyard, the main route to Mohegan Sun, Stratford just a tiny bit of the creepy that is CT.

   Rhode Island is strainge too, but only because it’s so small everyone is related to everyone else.

   MSNBC Contributor Blames Republicans for Obama’s Unconstitutional Recess Appointment

   In a segment this morning discussing the breaking news that a panel of judges on the Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia unanimously ruled that some of President Obama’s recess appointments had been made in an unconstitutional manner, MSNBC’s Thomas Roberts turned to network contributor and former Democratic Senate staffer Jimmy Williams for his reaction.

   Williams conceded the the court had ruled correctly, but rather than chiding the president for violating his oath of office with unconstitutional appointments, he blamed Senate Republicans for driving Mr. Obama to do so

    There is no way I can see them losing the appeal short of loading the bench and that will just push it all the way up and they will lose for sure.

    Rat–the big story is that this type of thing has been ongoing since 1867 and it is set in precedent. Further , the right wingers in Congress were conducting a sham seession for the sole purpose of blocking meaningful legislation. Hence, Obama acted. On appeal, the Supreme Court will REVERSE the lover court decision, which was brought be some right wing GOP memebers in the first place….

    As one thing that Obama did is found unconstitutional or abuse of power, it will open the flood gates and then look out because a whole bunch of stuff could be turned upside down! There were many different law suits filed during the first four years that will get to the bench in the next year or two. And lets not forget that Obamacare could and will end up in front of the Supreme court again!

    Thanks for the recommendations. No wonder CT used to give me sad vibes. Were not for the state being between MA and NYC or for Bradley International, I wouldn’t have set a foot there. It sounds more attractive now with the haunted places.

    As stern and powerful as the courts ruling was, I think an appeal is a waste of time. Even if the SCOTUS takes it, the burden will be one Uncle Sam to show reasons it was a bad ruling. The ruling is sound and and based in law both present and past. The smackdown will stand.

    I agree with Coffee Steve- that’s why the right wing GOP lost the election BIG and why only 30% of the American people have a favorable opinion of the GOP!!!!!!!! The truth always wins out over lies, even if the lies are bankrolled by the Koch Bros and Adelson…………
