LMAO at TNT getting 0.5 for repeats at 12 and 1 AM doing CW ratings lol.
AHS is down a little more than 10% from last season, which isn’t a bad showing.
The demo for Necessary Roughness stayed the same as for last summer’s finale. A 0.6 rating but down a half million viewers. The show was ok when it was about Danni and her family. However, the producers pretty much killed off this show by switching to an ensemble format after season one. The plots then jumped from character to character every five minutes making everything hard to follow. With these ratings and a short 10 episode order, I predict that NR will be cancelled.
Kroll Show”
I too was surprised by NR’s renewal. Also a little surprised AHS didn’t finish the season in the 1.1-.2 range as I figured it would at the beginning of the season. However holding on to last week’s numbers does show that it at least ended the season with a loyal following. That’s something.
USA has some serious problems too bad since i like many of it`s shows, my hope is that Modern Family start its syndycation deal this summer so hopefully that show can put decents ratings, they also have Graceland and other unicripted shows that maybe can make them the Number ona basic cable.
@Max,
Its the revenge of cable. What does that even mean? Im sorry to break it to you then: but BOTH Revenge and AHS will return next season.
And i failed to see Scandal in the DVR ratings. Sucks.
Washington Heights data tends to show on thefutoncritic.com’s daily report posted at night. Its not doing well.
Looks like it’s Necessary Roughness that’s more likely to move (maybe Friday?) to make way for Graceland. I’m relieved for Covert Affairs.
@GG
DVR ratings don’t matter…
I see the difference between revenge and scandal is that while revenge has fallen from season to season… scandal has risen…
Either way bothe will return
Anyone have the ratings for Happily Divorced?
USA has developed a successful formula for providing lite entertainment that is almost unmatched. They should start referring to themselves as “The Comfort Network”. Most of the programs are pretty fluffy. There’s not a whole lot of profound stuff going on. For example, Royal Pains has been meandering around to high ratings for years without really finding a plot direction. The writers couldn’t even figure out what to do with Jill Flint’s character. With a few exceptions like NR, I get the sense that USA has been pretty successful in keeping its viewers loyal to the network.
@Max
You are right AHS is the Revenge of cable! It’s a hit just like Revenge is!
Washington Heights isn’t doing well.
January 9: 0.75 million viewers, 0.4 18-49
January 16: 0.87 million viewers, 0.4 18.49
@ JOHN A “LMAO at TNT getting 0.5 for repeats at 12 and 1 AM doing CW ratings lol.”
Yesterday Supernatural hit 0.5 for TNT in Syndication which also beat a lot of CW originals ( a la 90210, gossip girl, Nikita, Emily Owens, tying Carrie Diaries and Beauty and the Beast which usually hits .5 or .6) and was only .4 and a million viewers of of its New Episode last night..
So the whole laugh at CW bit might be funny but I’m hoping CW can stray from the horrible reputation and bad decisions of the past and become something bigger and better.. Pretty much averaging a 1.0 or better 5 times a week would be a nice start. I bet The Vampire Diaires would do good in syndication too.
@Bryce Novarro -BOW 2 U !!!
Anyone know how Kroll Show did? Was here on the list last week now it isn’t. Doesn’t surprise me though if it bombed since last week it was absolutely terrible and so was yesterday’s episode. I like to give a show 2 shots to win me over but this one is just very hard to watch. Would appreciate any numbers. Thanks!
Trilled that Hot in Cleveland made the list. Anything for Happily Divorced? Thanks.
Washington Heights can’t even get Real World numbers, that’s pathetic.
yay!!! Hot in Cleveland got on the list! It went up from last week! Good! Great episode last night.
