Sarah Palin is a nutjob just like Nugent.
She was even too far-right for Fox News. For the next 4 years, the GOP is going to slowly shift back towards the center –closer to Reagan– and leave people like Sarah Palin, Rush, Coulter, Malkin, etc on the side of the road. Even Hannity scaled back on his hard-right stance on immigration.

I may want them banned but in reality the last time they were banned it had no effect. Maybe it would be time and money better spent addressing the trigger puller than the instrument. IE mental health and back ground checks.
Bsot–you have to address everything, including the instrument….

The only people that Fox appeals to is old angry white men with below average intelligence . Fox viewers seem to believe that if another news source doesn’t echo whatever Fox says then they must be controlled by the liberals. If the republicans would ever think that there mentality is scary and most logical people have realized this. Republicans , please keep doing the samething that you’ve been doing so we really can take control of everything and the only people you will have to blame is yourselves.

@Betty “NBC NEWS gets about 9 Million Viewers, give or take, BUT………………..
in a country of 310 Million that’s a minuet percentage,a drop in the bucket.”
Then what does that say about the 3 million that watch O’Reilly — talk about a minuet percentage– that’s 3 times less than Brian Williams…ouch!!!
************************************
Using your logic, then wath does that say about ANY MSNBC host, where they have trouble just occasionally reaching ONE million….REALLY BIG WASTE OF TIME KINDA OUCH FOR THEM.

shows how ignorant you are, since the ratings clearly show that more young viewers are watching Fox News than MSNBC….

It’s funny how people cry out the second amendment when it comes to “DON’T TAKE MY GUNS AWAY KING OBAMA WAA WAAA!” Yet they seem to forget a certain important line in that same amendment.
A well REGULATED militia. It’s the third word in the amendment….
*************************************
Shows how little you know the second amendment…there’s a PERIOD after “A well regulated militia.” this means “The right to bear arms” is a seperate statement…guess you never took a civic lesson…
No there isn’t you freaking retard, it’s a COMMA. If it was a period it would be an incomplete sentence…This guy is DUMBBBB. Please stop typing.
I agree with Norm!! Lol!
@RBS, he’s not typing, I’d class it as sexting because he seems to be getting himself off with his uniformed limited opinions.
Norm wrote: “The only people that Fox appeals to is old angry white men with below average intelligence…”
Awww. You must really love Fox.
CNN winning the rating war not talked about a whole lot: they are dominating social media and the internet. More people get their news from CNN than any other news group BY FAR.
MSNBC continues to increase their ability to compete and are on the rise. FOX still the overall viewer ratings king in news but on a very slow decline: probably stays on top another decade or so
Advertising and ratings wise, most important are the composites which is why I am always curious why they are not reported. Being in advertising and watching capital flow as I am sure some of you here are I can tell you that composite ratings in the key demo is what we look at for the big bucks. The second demo is looked at for extra space. Network/Central Ratings for Primetime are:
P2:
FOX: 2,022,000
NBC: 1,282,000
CNN: 938,000
THE KEY DEMO (25-54):
FOX: 333,000
NBC: 338,000
CNN: 324,000
The Second Key Demo (35-64)
FOX: 709,000
NBC: 558,000
CNN: 458,000
E-mails Show Feds Began Investigating Bob Menendez (D) Six Months Ago For Sleeping with Underage Dominican Hooker
Amazing how this gets conveniently covered-up on top of Team Obama delaying the deportation of Menendez’s illegal alien sex offender just before an election.
Documents published online for the first time Thursday indicate that the FBI opened an inquiry into New Jersey Democratic Sen. Bob Menendez on August 1, 2012, focusing on repeated trips he took to the Dominican Republic with longtime campaign contributor and Miami eye doctor Salomon Melgen. TheDC reported in November that Menendez purchased the service of prostitutes in that Caribbean nation at a series of alcohol-fueled sex parties.
The documents, which The Daily Caller had obtained hours earlier from an anonymous source, also indicate that Carrie Levine, research director at Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), was alerted on April 9, 2012 to Menendez’s habit of paying for sex while outside the United States.
ABC News senior investigative producer Rhonda Schwartz was aware as early as May 2, 2012, the documents show, when Levine wrote a source in the Dominican Republic to say that she had “shared your allegations, but not your identities, with a respected, trusted journalist with whom we have worked on other stories.”
In another email two days later, Levine identified that journalist as one who “works for ABC News.” By May 16, Schwartz was emailing Levine’s original source with questions.

Obama’s NLRB Plans to Ignore Federal Court Ruling Obama’s Recess Appointments are Unconstitutional
The rule of law means nothing to the radicals in the White House or those appointed by the radical-in-chief .
Mark Gaston Pearce, chairman of the National Labor Relations Board, issued the following statement in reaction to today’s DC Appeals Courtdecision that President Obama use of recess appointments to install three people on the NLRB last year was unconstitutional. The action renders the board without a quorum to act and potentially invalidates a year’s worth of actions and rulings by it. Pearce indicated that the NLRB will attempt to continue on regardless:
The Board respectfully disagrees with today’s decision and believes that the President’s position in the matter will ultimately be upheld. It should be noted that this order applies to only one specific case, Noel Canning, and that similar questions have been raised in more than a dozen cases pending in other courts of appeals. [...]
[...]Pearce, in short, is indicating that the NLRB’s strategy is to act as if the court’s ruling that the appointments were unconstitutional somehow only applies only to the particular case that went before the Appeals Court and hope that the White House can get the Supreme Court to quickly review the case.

Federal Reserve Buying $85 Billion of Debt Per Month…Uncharted Territory
Where is the media at on this fraud? The Fed is buying debt to prop up Obama’s economy and claiming they are doing so to reduce Obama’s unemployment.
Federal Reserve Chairman Ben S. Bernanke’s unprecedented bond buying pushed the Fed’s balance sheet to a record $3 trillion as he shows no sign of softening his effort to bring down 7.8 percent unemployment.
The Fed is purchasing $85 billion of securities every month, using the full force of its balance sheet to stoke the economic recovery. The central bank began $40 billion in monthly purchases of mortgage-backed securities in September and added $45 billion in Treasury securities to that pace this month.
“We’re in uncharted territory,” said Julia Coronado, chief economist for North America at BNP Paribas SA in New York, and a former Fed economist. Even as “the easy money will flow through financial markets and into the real economy at some point and lift us to a better growth trajectory,” the U.S. faces “a lot of risks,” she said.
The Fed’s total assets climbed by $48 billion in the past week to $3.01 trillion as of Jan. 23, according to a release from the central bank yesterday in Washington. The announcement came as the Standard & Poor’s 500 Index closed at the highest level since December 2007.

TOP-11 “ONLY IN AMERICA” OBSERVATIONS — BY A CANADIAN
1) Only in America could the rich people – who pay 86% of all income taxes – be accused of not paying their “fair share” by people who don’t pay any income taxes at all.
2) Only in America could people claim that the government still discriminates against black Americans when they have a black President, a black Attorney General, and roughly 18% of the federal workforce is black while only 12% of the population is black
3) Only in America could they have had the two people most responsible for our tax code, Timothy Geithner, the head of the Treasury Department and Charles Rangel who once ran the Ways and Means Committee, BOTH turn out to be tax cheats who are in favor of higher taxes.
4) Only in America can they have terrorists kill people in the name of Allah and have the media primarily react by fretting that Muslims might be harmed by the backlash.
5) Only in America would they make people who want to legally become American citizens wait for years in their home countries and pay tens of thousands of dollars for the privilege while we discuss letting anyone who sneaks into the country illegally just ‘magically’ become American citizens.
6) Only in America could the people who believe in balancing the budget and sticking by the country’s Constitution be thought of as “extremists.”
7) Only in America could you need to present a driver’s license to cash a check or buy alcohol, but not to vote.
8) Only in America could people demand the government investigate whether oil companies are gouging the public because the price of gas went up when the return on equity invested in a major U.S. oil company (Marathon Oil) is less than half of a company making tennis shoes (Nike).
9) Only in America could the government collect more tax dollars from the people than any nation in recorded history, still spend a Trillion dollars more than it has per year – for total spending of $7-Million PER MINUTE, and complain that it doesn’t have nearly enough money.
10) Only in America could politicians talk about the greed of the rich at a $35,000.00 a plate campaign fund-raising event.
11) Only in America can a man with no background, no qualifications and no experience … and a complete failure at his job … be reelected.
Federal Reserve Holds $1.6 Trillion in US Debt…275% Explosion Under Obama
In data releasedThursday afternoon, the Federal Reserve revealed that its holdings of U.S. government debt had increased to an all-time record of $1,696,691,000,000 as of the close of business on Wednesday.
