   ibsles–here this guy goes again, spouting absurdities. THe debt has NOTHING to do with recovery. In fact, spending is necessary for recovery. But ibsles, lacking education in economics and most other things, doesn’t understand. All of your erroneous have been litigated durng the election and you LOST BIG!!! Where do you come up with these points–from the John Birch Society??? fox viewers would agree, but there are only 2 million of those out of 300+ million Americans!!!!!!!

   ibsles finds one economist out a hundred who don’t likethe Fed buying bonds. This economist thinks there may be too much risk. Well, I got news for you both, there is too much risk when an economy goes under because nobody did anything–you don’t stop spending in a bad recession! Ibsles is one of the right wing types who want to abolish the Fed because ibsles and their ilk don’t understand economics!!!!!!!!!

   Recess appointments have been common occurrence under most US presidents for hundreds of years. Obama did nothing that Washington, Jefferson, Eisenhower, Clinton, Bush, etc haven’t done. The right wing is grasping at straws and the ciruit court’s decsision will be reversed by the Supreme Court…

   IBSLES is a perfect example of the right wing extremists which the voters have soundly rejected. The right wing extremist agenda represents racists, bigots, religious fanatics, anti government kooks, some greedy wealthy people, and extreme backward thinkers. Usually these people have little education. They are caught in a time warp around 1880. Their backward and erroneous ideology was soundly rejected by the American People in the election and all national surveys show a vast majority favor Obama’s progressive policy.

   A strong recovery may be jump started by stimulative spending,,but a strong economy will be crippled by trillion dollar deficits,,with debt/GDP over 100% and approaching WWII levels..We used to be a creditor nation and now face future unfunded liabilities and staggering costs of interest that will keep us on a path of monetary easing,,that will eventually be broken FOR us,,by our creditors,,such as China..I’d be more in favor of a policy where we control our economic destiny..If you believe that the debt or deficits are a concocted political issue or our staggering unfunded liabilities are no big deal,,your kidding yourself…Just because politicans are elected on certain promises,,dosen’t make the policies behind those promises fundamentally sound..

    PaulG–said–I’d be more in favor of a policy where we control our economic destiny—of course, anyone would. But in a bad recession, you need to stimulate the economy to get it started or it will collapse. The right wing GOP does not understand economics and they have said many times they would let the economy fall to nothing and start over–which is ABSURD. Once the economy gets humming and Treasury is flush with tax monies, you balance the budget. Very Simple…..

    Fox Right Wing News is running another bogus headline about Social Security running out of money—Nothing could be further from the truth but Fox is the propaganda arm of the far right and so is not concerned about accuracy. The truth is the far right (Lian Ryan, et al) want to ELIMINATE Social Securtiy, Medicare, etc..
