    Under W., or should I say, the 8 long, miserable years under the iron hand of Cheney-Bush…Lied us into battle, War for Oil, so Cheney’s Halliburton stocks went up, big time..Two wars off of the books, trillions and unpaid,losing 700 thousand jobs per month, Right b/fore W. left office, the country took a dive, heading into the abyss and along came Obama…He had to work on the W. “clean up” committee to try to reverse the damage done in 8 years. He’s done a pretty good job, but that’s never good enough for the crowd who caused the prob. in the 1st place. O. will have to double his efforts and do more mopping up this term. R or D Corporatism is alive and well and running the country, while the ‘little people’ don’t even get to ‘eat cake’ anymore. Can you say, Kaput?

    Good afternoon Ratboy. I find it funny that the liberal thinking people on this site that claim us conservatives can’t think for ourselves only spout the words stated by liberals and MSNBC. It’s fun reading, “studies show that crime rates went down when ***** become legal.” NO SH*T. I have an idea, Rat, that’s make everything legal then there will be no crime.     I agree it was bad when BO got into office. He did say unemployment would be down and the budget better though, did he not? That is on him but is never mentioned. Also, for everyone, when did Afganistan become the “bad” unfunded war? This was the war GWB was criticized for not spending enough resources towards, why is it now lumped together with Iraq? You can certainly debate Iraq, especially with what we know now, but Afg. was not debatable except for a few like Bernie Sanders, if memory serves.

    The war was a wast of money, and lives. Halliburton was owned by Lady Bird Johnson , the wife of LBJ, a Demo. Dick Chaney did not own the stock. A Big Demo, Lady Bird got the profit.

    On Halliburton. the Democrats were good at hiding Lady Bird. were they not. She made a great wealth on contracting in Vietnam war. That was really bad. Democrats will not tell you that.That is how she ended up the one with the most stock. Could politics be any worst than that.

    Lets get off the moral issues and fix the economy. The political class wants us not to see how rich they are getting

    You missed my post where I said, Obama and Biden need to forget the gun control dog and pony show tour that they are starting next week and work on the economy. The Obama lovers are never going to listen to how politicians are only running for office for money and the power to make more money for themselves and their friends. The Clintons and Obama have made more money from being in the White House than any other Presidents. Obama went from only being able to afford a $300,000 home in 2000, to paying an $11 million vacation home. His books did not make that much money so where did it come from? But the Obama lovers will not believe what is in front of their own eyes.

    Secondly, I’m not going to let anyone compare a living being to a germ on a counter.

    First, the Vietnam War started long before JFK or LBJ. Second, new light was shed on the war with the release of the Nixon tapes found in the national archives. The war had more to do with trade routes in South East Asia then anything the public was being told. Nearly every war can be traced back to big money interest.

    Congress passed the Unborn Victims of Violence Act, which specifically criminalizes harming a f**us, with the same penalties as for a similar attack upon a person, when the attack would be a federal offense. Most such attacks fall under state laws; for instance, Scott Peterson was convicted of killing his unborn son as well as his wife under California’s pre-existing fetal homicide law.

    What irony on your side. It’s murder when the mother wanted to keep the child but it’s not murder when the mother doesn’t want it.

    Kennedy only had a few hundred advisers. LBJ Did the attracting and the fighting. Nixon make it worse. It was a war for French Colony. French money. How stupid.

    All wars should make money or stay home. Julies stated this. In our times that is impossible. We should not have been in WWI. We went to war for using human shields on the Lucitainna / We were selling arms and used humans as shields/ That war would have ended in a draw like all of their other wars and we would not have had WWII
