@BigBrotherFan
I’m finding your ignorance quite funny and very pathetic.
Never seen the show, but I am completely certain it will get many seasons. It has been hugely critically praised, as well as it has a fanbase, and the show ‘gets around’, and a channel like HBO lives for that.
Lena Dunham is someone who will be around a while. She is very talented, as a producer, writer and actor. She has the whole package.
I find it very funny that you think your opinion matters. Nobody cares what you think, I’m kind of glad you have somewhere to rant and people to torment and criticize online, so that way you are not out killing the dreams of innocent children.
Final thought: judging by your name, I’d guess that you are a big brother fan??! Its really funny that you are judging a shows quality. Coming from a fan of the most pathetic show on television.
That is all. I hope you enjoy living your critical, arrogant, lonely life!
Why? HBO cans shows with better ratings than this every year.
I don’t see why it is an comedy if it is not funny
iamiboo, because people don’t know how to think for themselves anymore. I don’t know why I expect more from a network that keep Bill Maher on the air.
I for one love this show. It’s hilarious and so true-to-life for me. I know absolutely nothing about the actors nor do I care because I couldn’t care less about the lives of celebrities.
@KC “Well you ignore normal people when they make good arguments about why they don’t like Girls, so apparently only professional critics’ opinions matter? That isn’t really fair.”
Excellent point. I have to laugh when I read all the great critical reviews the LA Complex received. Television isn’t so mystical that viewers can’t decide for themselves what they like.
Lena Dunham is totally overrated. She has some talent, but the way TV critics rave about the show is embarrassing. Her first film Tiny Furniture is borderline unwatchable.
The only bad news about this is that 12 episodes is not enough. I’m so excited! I’ve quickly fallen in love with this show. It’s great to watch this second season knowing that a third is coming!
