Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

Yeah, bashing other shows won’t bring back The Secret Flop.

  • JFC

Yes Last Resort was a final episode. Won’t give it away, but it does resolve pretty much everything (although leaves a few questions unanswered) and ends in a way makes it very clear that this story is over.

The difference between TSC and BATB is that BATB seems to be growing its audience or atleast holding onto much of the audience it premiered to. TSC began stronger than BATB but started to have a downhill ratings trend towards the middle of the season. The CW will renew BATB for another season.

Can Somebody hit Max In The Face? he is so stupid and idiot OMG! we know that u hate ravenge! the two shows are so diferents loser! get a life!

Who the hell cares if The Big Crap Theory beats Idol next week? Idol isnt going anywhere for a while. So haters need to shut up and get use to it. Idol………… isnt……….. going……….. anywhere!!!!!!!!!! I repeated my self slowly so you retards can understand me.

  • gerry

    @ spartacus666

i’m gay and i thought last resort was the best new show of the season. watch your stereotypes, dude.

  • Stephen Judson

Looking at those Late night notes, good for Jimmy winning on Thursday

  • Tom

@ Jared “BATB seems to be growing its audience or at least holding onto much of the audience it premiered to….”?

B&B premiered at a 1.2/2.78MM. By Episode 3, it fell to a 0.6/1.88MM. Yesterday, it returned to a 0.7/ 1.82 (subject to possible adjustment). In fact, B&B has never come close to matching it’s opening numbers and won’t. All this demonstrates is that B&B fans are as desperate as TSC fans to believe that their low rated shows are better than they actually are.

  • aiden

@Ultima shut up! he always says the same thing week after week! this is the first time i respond! so shut up!

  • Melissa

Which network will likely win next week: FOX or CBS?

  • Melissa

Also, nice to see Glee up!

Man Idol will end soon if not this year the next or the one after its done you cannot do anything about it and also you dont have good taste in TV if you watch Idol and personally i think all reality tv are a waste of time but maybe the voice is the only one that is tolerable atleast its original but idol is just people singing and the one that are in now are not even that good so give it a rest and let good tv come in Fox will not let Idol go until it doesnt make money for them and i think that time will come soon i really hope it does.

  • Kavyn

Max is starting to become my favourite poster.

@Max can you please start commenting on how much better Community is than BBT? Also how much better Nikita is than TVD? I need some of your magic on my favourite dying shows :)

  • carla

My gosh if u dislike BATB fine, let us fans celebrate. The show went up in ratings and is doing steady work for the CW.

TSC fans BATB is NOT the reason your show ended. Its ratings were. It dipped to 1.2 and 0.5. Blame the CW prez not BATB.

The show is the 4th highest, Scores well in its female demo (was second this week to TVD) And scored a PCA. People like the show. If you never watched it, or simply watched one episode u cant judge this show!

  • Lucinders

@SJ The reason they repeated Scandal is that there are only 22 episodes of Scandal and 24 episodes of Greys. So an original Scandal will probably won’t follow a repeat of Greys, given that Greys has two more episodes than Scandal.
Also, for the last two seasons, Greys has had a one-hour finale, so if they have a one-hour finale this season, it will be no different.

  • BigBrotherFan

I hate the reality crap out there but I don’t generally bash the ORGINALS of a reality GENRE, often cause they are after all the orginals. This would apply to SURVIVOR, AMERICAN IDOL AND BIG BROTHER..Well the last few remaining orginals.

It’s quite amazing that after all these years Idol is still one OF THE STRONGEST NON SPORTS PROGRAMS ON TV RIGHT NOW! even with the heavily crowded marketplace of singing comps and NEW ORGINAL FORMATS with INNOVATIVE TWISTS premiring SUCH AS THE VOICE..Idol is still a monster!

Man Idol will end soon if not this year the next

    Not. A. Chance.

@ Carla The big gripe among TSC fans is that there were a number of lower rated shows on the CW schedule that should have been cancelled instead. My gripe is that the CW chose to put B&B in TSC’s time slot thereby virtually guaranteeing another round of low ratings. I doubt if B&B will stay at 0.7. It’s typically a 0.6 rated show and that’s where it’ll eventually retreat to. So, enjoy that 0.7 before it evaporates. Since TSC ended its run with a 0.6 rating, it’s likely that it could have performed at least as well as B&B. We could also have been spared the ridiculous spectacle of watch KK and her side kick, Roseann Rosanndanna, butcher their roles. If the CW wants to move ahead, it absolutely has to rid itself of these second rate productions.
