Wow!!! Way to go DOOL!!! The show has been really good lately.

  • gene

Lots of great things happening at DAYS. With some great villains back on the show, it seems like something big is brewing in Salem. The gay storyline is very well done and we’re seeing some wonderful performances from longtime players. The renewal and ratings bump are only icing on the cake. Glad to see all soaps are doing better these days. The genre seems to be off life support for the time being.

I would watch days again as a big fan from childhood in the 90s to the 2000s.. But I couldn’t stand all the boring new characters on Days of Our Lives.. Who are all the “great villains” and actors/actresses on the show? And whose wedding is setting records? I’m happy for Days and any soap for that matter that sees a healthy increase :)

  • Derrick

WOW!! Go DAYS! Let’s continue going up!
Y&R and B&B are up too in total viewers!

  • Pat

Good for all the shows, and congrats to Days.

  • Jeff

Good job Days. GH, time to crank up those ratings!

  • Justin

    Monday: 2.2/2,874,000
    Tuesday: 2.1/2,985,000
    Wednesday: 2.0/2,647,000
    Thursday: 2.1/2,714,000
    Friday: 2.0/2,650,000

Days was just 15,000 viewers short of 3 million on Tuesday! Way to go Days…a lot of good stuff happening on the show right now. Chris23, word is Stefano will be back fulltime with a vengeance…rumour of a Stefano/Kate secret from years passed. Chloe is back and Phillip isn’t her son’s father, she’s after Daniel.

  • Nick

GH, the only show not to gain. Keep Robert in a coma and honor Port Charles with lame vampire nonsense. Great decisions.

  • Stephen Judson

You act as if the show has drop to new lows. The drop off was not huge and anything can happen next week with these ratings.

  • the_trouble_with_the_truth

@ nick. I have not watched GH since I was a child in the 90s but I tuned in this whole week to see this vampire storyline. I loved it, they have had nothing about it this week so I didn’t watch. Wanna make a bet that the numbers go down next week. I love Lynn Herring and remembered her on GH back then her storyline will keep the viewers like me who are new, it needs more screan time!

  • Glen

Glad to see DOOL perk up a little, but the show is still wildly uneven. TPTB need to figure out how to keep the momentum up because the pacing is still way too slow and plodding. Take a page from GH’s playbook, by far the best of the four soaps right now.

  • Rob R

A bad week to be a soap hater. They are out-rating the talk shows and AMC and OLTL have announced over 20 cast sign-ons between them, plus alliances with Hulu and I-tunes.

  • William

My wife is a huge fan of “Days” as is her mother. They will be happy to know that.

  • pinevalleylover

Great numbers for Days and GH! and with the news amc and oltl are coming back and have cast and crew lined up is great! question… is adam gregory leaving B&B for good? because i haven’t heard anything on any of the news sites but his character is off to france for good maybe…

  • chris23

    thanks Justin :)

  • rob60990

GH went up in W18-34. It has been in 1st place in that demo for a while.

  • Dizzard

It is definitely a bad time to be a soap hater, the soaps are coming back really strong right now.

What amazes me more than anything how dead DAYS has been since 2006 and like 7 years later its still a beast.

GH is killing the ABC shows except The View which airs in a much more comfortable timeslot anyways.

CBS has been trying to get rid of their soaps for years but B&B got stronger and Y&R is still over 4 million everyday and now has Steve Burton coming.

OLTL and AMC are coming back in April.
