Nielsen TV Ratings: ©2013 The Nielsen Company. All Rights Reserved.

NOTE: All ratings are "live plus same day" from Nielsen Media Research unless otherwise indicated.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.  More information on ratings is available here.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

Hilarious how Nikita fans think one 0.5 out of a whole season of >0.4’s makes their show a super hit.

Wake up, a 0.5 is still a pathetic rating.

  • Albert

Go Nikita! It’s getting renewed, and so is Hart of Dixie! Good riddance, Beauty and the Flop crap!

  • John A

    CBS repeated well.

  • Observer

The three shows with the most total viewers were all on CBS and all were repeats. Slow night.

    Beauty and the Flop HAUSHAUSHUSHA

  • rob60990

Nikita will probably adjust down in the finals. A rerun of the Carrie Diaries only did a tenth worse. Lmao.

  • John A

Hilarious that 0.5 is a season high.

  • Steve-A

@Bizzaro Bondoel. No one said it was a hit. Fans are just excited. Like all other shows on here when shows hit season highs. And its in the same range as other shows on the CW and its a Friday show.

  • panda22

Woo!….go Nikita!, with 1.59m viewers…any chance of being adjusted up to a 0.6 in the finals?

Tbf…it wasn’t just lack of competition as last weeks ep. had a huge cliffhanger with Michaels hand being chopped off by Nikita, so people tuned in to see the aftermath….which happens to be lasts nights title :)

  • TOM

    Half hours?

  • Albert

“Hilarious how Nikita fans think one 0.5 out of a whole season of >0.4?s makes their show a super hit.

Wake up, a 0.5 is still a pathetic rating.”

I don’t see anyone here calling it a hit, you’re stretching our reactions to a season high, dial it back a notch. And we know the shows ratings are low, but it’s closer to syndication than BaTB (which has scored a 0.5 and multiple 0.6s with a lead-in like TVD) for example, and it does very well internationally. It’s a fact that it has higher chances of renewal over other shows, check out this site’s cancelation/renew index.

  • Mal

LOL @ Nikita fans calling Beauty and the Beast a flop. You might feel safe because of syndication rules, but let’s be honest: you’d kill for your show to have those numbers.

And before you start, I don’t watch either of them. I’m just a fan of the ratings game.

  • panda22

    @ Nikita haterz….SUCK IT!, season 4 + syndication-a-comin’ :D

  • Colin

Nikita only went under 0.4 like 3 times when it was on 9pm, 8pm is all 0.4 which is good for a Friday, while during the week shows are getting 0.5…

  • Albert

    “Beauty and the Flop HAUSHAUSHUSHA”

LOL yeah. It really is a flop ratings-wise, creatively wise and more. I want it gone to make room for a good show like Nikita or a good new show this fall.

  • Alexis

If Nikita doesn’t get adjusted down on Monday, party in my house and everyone’s invited! :)

  • Albert

“LOL @ Nikita fans calling Beauty and the Beast a flop. You might feel safe because of syndication rules, but let’s be honest: you’d kill for your show to have those numbers.”

LMAO. I would kill for Nikita to have TVD’s numbers, yeah, but BaTB’s numbers? LOOL hell no! I wouldn’t kill for multiple o.6s and a 0.5 of a show who has the beast lead-in the network can provide. Nikita has only slightly lower ratings, and contrary to BaTB, it does well internationally and is more critically acclaimed, not to add the syndication deal coming,

  • Ultima

    Well, there you have it.

    That’s Nikita’s fate sealed. They’ll order a fourth season.

Do people really think network’s make decisions based off of how one episode does?

  • Jon

    Shark Tank was a rerun.
